Umami bomb! I had the tan tan udon noodle soup. It was fantastic and virtually ramen. The meaty broth was loaded with umami and was super delicious. The pickled soft-boiled egg was superb! Into my spoon went a noodle, a bit of ground pork, and some broth; every slurp made me smile. The dish is described as spicy, but I did not find it very spicy, just super flavorful. I added some togarashi to some of the spoonfuls and then it was a bit spicy.
Love this restaurant. They have a rewards program. The food tastes fresh. The take-out is well packaged. The service is excellent. They prepare meals for dine-in and to-go. Their are many options for custom poke bowls. The charges for special ingredients are reasonable. I go to this restaurant often for take-out. Hope they decide to expand or change their side or appetizer menu a bit to just keep me coming and interested.
Beyond the Bowl is a great little stop, especially during lunch hours (great lunch discount). I love that you can build you own bowl! Ingredients are fresh and delicious. Many options for those who don't love raw fish (or seafood in general). Cute atmosphere and nice service. We will be back!

Great food and great service ! Been here several times. I had ordered the "Gangnam style beef rice" Very yummy. Most of the Udon and poke bowl dishes are great ! The vegetables roll is very delicious.Serve alcohol too, Japanese style or beer etcClose at 8:30pm , no need for reservation but limited seats .. Good to come with a friend :)Please bring covid 19 test card
Been going here every great once and a while since they opened, not the best in Seattle, but when in the Lake City area will do. This last time quality went way downhill, quality of fish wasn't as good, chopped into tiny little pieces to help cover up with more sauce than fish, to cover up how bad it was. The rice was mushy, and tasted like it was stale before being cooked, that grain flavor you get to low quality rice. This now will be the last time I come here. 3 star for past experience, 1 star this time, so rated them in between hoping they will improve quality again.
I got the Chicken Teriyaki Don with Veggie Spring Rolls. Everything was delicious and the spring rolls were perfectly crispy served with a delightful sauce. The Don was visually stunning and tasted even better. Highly recommend!

Small hole in the wall that's open for dine-in.They have a good selection of Udon and poke bowls you can customize.Friendly staff and good food.
Came close to closing, and they still went above and beyond to help us! Great staff, excellent food!
