Bar Miriam is the best thing to hit Queen Anne since we moved here late in 2021. The staff is awesome (shout out to Dan, Colin, Brian(s), Cody and Meg). The patrons are all friendly. Currently the cocktail list is themed around A Tribe Called Quest. I heard a rumor that the next list will be Sandlot themed. Also, the only spot open later than everything else on the hill.
Came here for the first time the other night. The server was super helpful and recommended drinks we really liked. The dinner food was out of our budget for the night but seemed delicious and we got a dessert to split (chocolate mousse) that we liked a lot too. One star down because the seating is really minimal, if you're not at the bar it's one wide couch so you're sitting quite close to your party but also anyone around you. The bar seemed more comfortable.
Sat at the bar but still waited a long time for both drinks and food, male bar tender was arrogant and we got a cheese plate with no utensils. Couldn’t get anyone attention to get a knife or two so had to ask the nice people next to me. Food was fine but nothing like Baker’s
My friend and I had such a great evening at Bar Miriam! Their cocktails are so thoughtful and delicious- the bartender was so knowledgeable and their spirits were unique. We also got some of their food which was very good (although on the pricier side for their portion size). Very cozy spot with limited seating, but we went at 4:30 on a Sunday and managed to snag a seat at the bar. I will definitely be back!!
The new neighborhood gem! Excellent cocktail selection, some local brews on tap, and delicious small plates. It gets very busy as soon as they open, but we were able to grab a seat at the bar. Friendly staff as well. Will be back!
Really enjoyed the vibe of the place - relaxed yet stylish interior. The server was very nice and very well versed in the menu. Ended up with a drink that had locally sourced gin from Bainbridge and a fun celery bitter kick!
We loved our experience at Bar Miriam! My husband and I came by just after it opened (4pm) on Sunday with the intention of having a light dinner and it did not disappoint. We each ordered a drink (Bolivian rose and Electric relaxation) and both were reasonably strong but well-balanced - exactly what you would hope for at a cocktail bar.For food, we ordered the Asian pears to start, which are wrapped in beef fat and lightly charred. They were a little unusual but delicious in the vein of prosciutto wrapped melon. We also ordered the Kentucky fried soft shell crab which conveniently came with two sliders and the pork collar. The pork collar was the real standout, sitting on an assortment of wild mushrooms, scallions, and garlic labneh. We will definitely return for this dish specifically.Wonderful service by Colin and Dan, they really made our Sunday. Glad to have this new spot in Queen Anne!
Just what the neighborhood needed. Cranking out great cocktails and fun small to shareable plates. Well curated back bar. Loved Bite Box but this is something else. Can’t wait to see what the bottle shop brings!
Great food, cocktails, and service! We will definitely be back!
Came here Friday around 5pm and the place was completely packed! Servers were great...super friendly and attentive. Our cocktails were beautifully presented and we tried the bread/pickles dish, tandoori eggplant and duck croquettes. We liked the bread and croquettes the most. Eggplant was a tad tough. Very lovely atmosphere and great addition to our little neighborhood!
