Food was OK, weird experience where the owner asked for a tip. This is a counter service restaurant and our group did not have any special needs or requests. It is a purchase, a simple transaction where money is exchanged for food. If they need more money for this, they should just raise the menu price to reflect that need and not panhandle us at the cash register for more. I don't know what's going on here.

Cajun blackened salmon sandwich was delicious those delicious with wonderful sauteed onions and some sauce on it. it was really good. we also had the cod that had a wonderful Crunchy outside with juicy fish inside. French fries were really crunchy and nice tasting I wish I could eat double what they gave me. everything we tried was really good. the only said thing was the guy that worked there was all alone so the menu was cut down and you couldn't order everything. the time that it took to get our food was longer than I expected but the food was great. so it was worth the time to get it.

This here hands down my favorite fish and chips place. So good praying that this pandemic aftershock goes away soon though! So this place sticks around!Great location and a even greater owner/chef/and wait staff!

I would take a picture of the food but it's all gone! Much better and tastier than Ivar's though so I am glad ?? we stopped by.The restaurant was very clean and hygienic and I was glad to see the owner takes face coverings seriously.I got prawns, cod fish, rock fish, fries, clam chowder soup, and -Guess that's it. Anyways I'm happily stuffed and I thought everything tasted great! Except the clam chowder but I never tasted that (because the thought of eating clam grosses me out) my picky brother and mother liked it though.Food tasted very fresh and well made!We will be baaaaack! ;)

Tonight, I both performed stand-up comedy, and bought the blackened, chicken sandwich at this establishment.Everyone boo’d me, and hated my act(they said I should “die” and “get fucked”), but the sandwich was so good. I wish I had bought two. The fries even tasted good after a car ride home.I can not wait to go back and try the salmon sandwich. Great food.

Wow.. I'm a clam chowder on a cold night fan. I eat chowder at the met or capital grill or shuckers at least once a week.. And I hit this place up because it was fast reliever and I have to say, best clam chowder I've had, probably in my entire life. My friend tried some of mine..said the same thing

One of the best burgers and fries in a long time. The Black & Blue & Bacon is the way to go.

I had Fish and Chips, and Stephen had a Bacon Burger. The cod fillets coated with a crispy batter lay across the fries; The fish and fries had a nice texture not soggy. However, thin end parts of fish was a little too crispy. Served with side of tarter sauce that was good, but lacked the horseradish flavor or dill pickle I prefer. The burger was huge and tasty, and bacon just right. Their blue cheese spread was light not a dripping mess like a lot of others served. Lettuce was fresh and bun stayed together. Cool murals are painted on entire building.

Fish tacos were fresh and delicioso!!Got my self a vuban sándwich and was really good too!!

As usual the fish and chips were wonderful, as was the beer. Really enjoyed a side of sweet onion rings as well. Pleasure chatting with the owner again. We were one of the few groups dining-in in the mid-afternoon but for that was ideal during a pandemic.
