Super friendly staff and tasty vittles.

Excellent service, fun and inviting atmosphere w/open doors during summer months. My favorite Thai in the Capitol Hill area. I especially enjoy their cocktails and tea selection as well. 5 out 5 for sure!

Great flavor, it’s a good price considering that the place is really cozy and a bit fancy, always a great service as well

Definitely a pleasant re-visit after 3 years. I tried the bbq pork & crispy pork belly over rice and tom yum soup, both were delicious and flavorful! Bbq pork was juicy and the pork belly was crunchy. This place has my favorite tom yum soup, especially because of the mushroom they use in the soup. Most Thai restaurants around Seattle use baby bella or white mushroom, but this place uses straw mushroom and it tastes so much better in my opinion.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!! We’ve been there three times so far and it’s been delicious every single time. Some of the best Thai curry I’ve ever had and the Thai iced tea cocktail was also soo good. You really can’t go wrong with anything in the menu. Also a great place for a birthday with free fried ice cream and a birthday song ?

Apart from just being absolutely gorgeous inside, this restaurant was amazing. Food was awesome, servers were incredibly kind and helpful, and the drinks were really good too!

Helpful waiters including a mix of humans and robots. I always notice the music when I come here. I like it. Food is delicious, I don’t think you can really go wrong with anything. Yellow curry, bbq pork, spring rolls, crispy garlic chicken all very good.

Man, huge bummer with this one. I went last summer for the first time and loved it. Food was amazing! I've been twice this winter, and each time, the proteins were significantly overcooked, the sauces/soup did not taste fresh, and the staff was plentiful but nobody actually helped me (most recently, a robot served my food and my server seemed to have left the restaurant--unfindable to pay my bill). Don't know what happened, but I'm extremely disappointed! RIP to another potential gem. Hoping they figure it out.

Went here with two of my friends and my boyfriend and had a WONDERFUL experience! Food, drinks, setting, and ambiance was spot on :) will definitely be going back here for more nights out after bouldering!

Bai Tong has been around a long time in restaurant years. At its beginnings, it was busy, fun, good food, and very thoughtful service. It has fallen on hard times. Food is not what it used to be. There are many better choices in this neighborhood and all over town. For so-called "street food" it is outrageously priced at $23 for a sliced beef salad where the beef is inedible. Or, how about $19 for a bowl of red chicken curry with the chicken almost non-existent. Both dishes were requested as either no star or, at the most one star. Both were too hot. The waiter told us we needed to better understand our curry as what we ordered will always be hot. Funny, when placing the order he asked "How Hot?" He was told NOT hot and he said nothing. Speaking of the waiter, Karn, he took our order and we didn't see him at our table until it was tip time. We did see him throughout the meal chatting with another employee. When he asked, "how was your meal," I thought it was a bit late as we were done! Rude. Haughty, Unprofessional. We've had it with Bai Tong. Too many lousy experiences in the past couple of years.
