It's a very congenial place, friendly staff and decent food, and I've enjoyed the customers I've met. A place to hang out at for sure. I'd give it another star if the food was better. Nothing wrong with it but just not a cut above. Don't let that stop you from visiting.
Just the right amount of dive. Lots of good menu items, and things on it you'd never expect to find in a place like this that are much better than you'd expect from a place like this (don't judge a book by its cover, I guess). Be sure to ask about the secret menu!

2nd time I've been and still serve the best burger n they make their own fries just hecka tasty
Got the pulled pork and it was amazing. Great flavor and juicy. Best I've had in a long time.

Turkey club is amazing, bartenders are friendly, drinks are stiff, and the place is warm and clean. What more could you want in a bar?

I hate giving away a secret, but they have always been one of my top favorites in Ballard. I want them to last past Global warming, war. and a zombie apocalypse . Bad Albert's should just be...always.
