Delicious food (gyro, salad, and dessert), friendly and professional service. Prices were also reasonable. I liked the window opened for fresh air, but didn’t like the guy smoking a cigarette outside a few feet away.

Should have not looked into all the positive reviews. We ordered falafel dinner plate to go, which comes with rice but there wasn’t any rice when I picked up. Falafel was very dry and bland.

Food was decent. Waitress was excellent. But there were only people at 4 of the tables and it took a very long time to get our food (probably 45 minutes after we ordered). At one point the smell of cigarette smoke was rather strong in the place. So I think the cook must have taken a smoke break or something before cooking our food.We went past the place a few times while we stayed in the area, it was always pretty empty. We only tried it because the places across the street were packed. Can't see a reason to go back, but if time isn't a concern there is nothing really wrong with the place.

After reading the reviews, we decided to treat a friend to dinner at Athina. We were disappointed and embarrassed when our plates showed up. We ordered lamb souvlaki and vegetables and rice. The owner should be ashamed to serve CANNED peas and carrots in tomato broth. The rice tasted like cafeteria rice and the lamb was tough and gamey. The waitress never asked how it was or if we needed anything. Just sat and read a book. We payed the bill but shouldn’t have, and left hungry and nauseated. The place was freezing cold. They had one space heater that wasn’t turned on until later. The light bulbs were burned out so it was too dark.I guess we should have known when there were only 2 other patrons. Our experience deserve zero stars! Ugh!

Four years ago I spent three weeks in Greece where I enjoyed the grilled lamb, the fresh fish and the flavorful salads. Yesterday I walked into this place And ordered for my lunch the village salad and a skewer of grilled lamb. It was so tasty that I returned for dinner last night. We had more lamb and several appetizers. Only the ovgolemono soup was a little disappointing. The Greek wine was $6/ glass and went perfectly with the meal. It was a feast for 2 for under $40.

Service was quick and ready for a to go order. Sauce was amazing. Unfortunately it tasted like onion overload and my fries were very undercooked. I was the only one there when I picked up my order so they weren't busy. Not sure why the rush but the sad fries and harsh onions made me give it a 3 (average).

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, beautiful ambiance, delicious dishes, and wonderful dessert. I would like to come back here again and recommend to everyone!

Athina is our go to Greek restaurant in Seattle. It has a cozy, mom and pop atmosphere with fun decor. The food always tastes super fresh and flavorful. My go to is the Traditional Greek salad with grilled chicken, which is bold and flavorful without feeling too heavy. The staff is always lovely and helpful.

I’ve been coming here about 2-3 times a month. It’s a family-owned restaurant with tasty food, attentive and friendly service, and you don’t have to wait for half an hour like at other restaurants in Lower Queen Anne. If you’re looking for somewhere to get good food before an arena event, I highly recommend Athina Grill. Also the Greek fries are delicious.

Falafel was inedible, dry and hard on the outside, pasty and bland on the inside.Salad was composed of old greens drenched in dressing, inedible.Greek fries tasted like any other Cisco french fry but the Greek component of a bit of feta and sauce couldn’t justify the cost of the dish.Tossed the lot and picked up Mint and Olive instead (5 Stars).
