Was great especially the halibut salmon combo.
We were really hungry and had been touring the area all day. We walked and decided that even though this restaurant was right next to the cruise ship and was probably going to be touristy and overrated, we would stop anyway. It was quite expensive, but definitely worth it. Our waiter friendly and explained the beers were all local. He let us taste two of them and we decided on the Scotch Ale. It was so good. We shared the calamari and it was typical. I had a seasonal salad which included julienned rhubarb...so different and full of flavor. My husband had the Caesar. I had the king salmon because it was in season and only 6 days into the fishing season. It was a bit undercooked from what I typically cook it at home, but it was really well done and the correct portions. The cornbread fritter served with it was...oh so good. It was more than $225 after all was done, but worth every penny. Service, view of a busy working harbor, clean, and professional. We would return here...not as touristy and definitely not cheesy even given it's location.
You wouldn't think a walk up on the side of the building would serve such quality food and deliver such amazing service. The cashier was super friendly, the cooks were awesome, and the manager Heidi made sure I received everything I special requested. This is how you run a business! Delicious & Highly recommended!!
One of the best places to grab a swanky dinner with a million dollar view. On the waterfront, with floor to ceiling hardwood framed windows whose views span from Pike Place Market, the great Seattle Wheel, and port in the south all the way to the Olympics to the north. Top notch selection of local goods, including seafood. Superb staff. Excellent wine and cocktail selection. A fantastic place for a special occasion or romantic dinner.
We were pleasantly surprised to find an updated restsurant with excellent quality food. We were not very hungry, so each got a caesar salad that was scrumptious, and then shared a Northwest Duet (salmon & halibut) that were perfectly cooked and served with fresh vegetables and light sauces. We had a lovely Washington chardonnay with this. We received no snide comments about, nor fees for, sharing an entree. Instead, we were treated as importantly as any other customer. This was a perfect meal and we will definitely return on a future trip.
The location of this restaurant is its main selling point: right on the waterfront with a great view across the sound. To be worthy of a higher rating it needs to up its food standard to match the view (and the price) clam chowder was fine if a little over seasoned but the tempura prawns were let down by an inedible pudding of rice. There are better places in Seattle.
Very friendly staff and a nice place to peer out into the water. The clam chowder was ok, but I've had better. I had the salmon and habilut duet with broccolini and cornbread pudding. The pudding was amazing as well as the broccolini; the fish was fresh and tasty, but not 5 stars, especially for the price.
Anthonys was for a long time in my radar & list because of great location and view. As a local person that lives in downtown Seattle I prefer seafood places. I decided to book this restaurant for Christmas eve since its pricey and I was thinking its great for special occasion.First we were greated and seated not by the window even tho I had notes on my reservation on Open Table. My husband went to ask hostess if they can give us a better table. They said they dont have at the moment. I saw table in front of us was empty and they seated gentlemen there that came after us just few minutes later. My husband went again to ask hostess why they ignored us and put there somebody that came after us. Manager Leyla came and accompanied us to the window seat table in the back of the restaurant. I really appreciate that because we were a bit disappointed with gesture in the beginning.Food.I am sorry to say but food was bad. We ordered seafood tower that came with all kind of delicious oysters, shrimps, scallops but mussels were horrible. One mussel was green color and when I bite it was very bitter so I had to spit it out. It tasted rotten. Also rest of mussels sauce was very odd flavor nor me nor my husband liked it. Also many were in closed shells, thats mean most of it wasn't fresh. We told waiter about it but he just ignored it. I am glad I didnt got sick after that. After this seafood tower rotten mussel I lost my appetite. My husband still felt hungry and he ordered COD. Cod was very overcooked. All their items has a coconut rice as a side. I wish they had much more options for entrees $45+.I was expecting much more from this restaurant.
AMAZING, DELICIOUS AND FRESH!!! While visiting Seattle I found this restaurant by the waterfront with a nice view to the Ferris wheel.Raw oysters were just the right amount of sweet and salty flavors and very fresh! Fried Calamari was perfectly cooked and tasty, I wasn’t a big fan of the sauce that came with the calamari tho, for entree with help of Brennan I decided to get the Wild Alaska King Salmon and it was perfectly grilled, juice and the sun dried tomato sauce on the salmon was simply DELICIOUS! Their homemade cornbread was incredibly tasty and warm, I almost ordered an order of all cornbread pudding lol.Brennan was my server, he was very sweet, friendly and helpful answering my many questions I had about the menu. Masks, vaxxed card or negative test is required. Great set up, comfortable and chill environment, bathrooms are super clean. Restaurant has a beautiful view of the waterfront. I definitely recommend!!!
If you've never been hurry on over! Please see Mark. His taste in music and selection is amazing! He treats every guests like a Rockstar. I highly recommend ?
