Off the hook! This is a fantastic restaurant! This was our first time there but we will be back often.Give it a try, you will NOT be disappointed.

Our first experience at Amy’s was great. We ordered red tibs and shiro made on a pot. The Shiro was amazing but the red tibs not so much. The meat was bit dry not as spicy as we expected it.Also there were two guys and a girl seated on the other side talking aloud. Shouting and laughing. I was surprised to see Habesha people using the F word in public. It was shameful!

Had the green chicken sandwich, and it was amazing. Roll was lightly toasted and inside it was tangy, well spiced Ethiopian spinach chicken with lettuce and tomatoes. Buttery smooth goodness with just enough spice to warm your taste buds. The qatena (?) appetizer was crispy injeera folded over a decisive spice layer. Much spicer, but not enough to overwhelm the complex mix of flavors.Highly recommended.

Fantastic food, warm service and great dining environment.

Love the generously sized meat + veg combo! Definitely enough food for two hungry adults. Quickly becoming one of my go to savory comfort foods!

I step by to just check out the Cafe and I order some coffee. The guy show up and I order latte. I requested to be extra hot with 3 raw sugar and boy i was despoinited especially when you tip someone. It was completely opposite of what I requested the coffee is so bitter no sugar and not to hot.

We got the Vegetarian Combo and the Meat Combo, both were bland and neither sit well. We have gotten better in other options in the neighborhood. Maybe they were having a bad day because this place seems to be highly regarded

Very nice owner- chef woman , we had the all vegetarian lunch meal for 2 , Ethiopian coffee and baklava. The main meal is served on a circular tray, starting with a crepe-like base covered by small piles of seasoned vegetables, lentals, beets, beans with a small salad in the middle. The meal is eaten by scooping the different vegetables up with a rolled part of the crepe. Well worth the price along with the hospitality.

Great place to try something new. Owners are so kind, they explained to us how to eat our vegetarian platter and gave us more bread. So lovely.

Love the food here! And the service was great
