Very flavorful food, and good-sized portions. Had the chicken shawarma and bowl of lentil soup. The friendly owner gave us two pitas for free since we didn’t think to order them ourselves. The only downside was that even when dining in, we got plastic cutlery and the soup was served in a plastic take-out container. That goes against our desire to avoid single-use plastic items.
Anything with lamb in the store is incredible. Amazing and rich flavor as you expect from lamb. Humus is rich and creamy. The tahini used in it is on a more flavorful side which kinda outweighs the beans but still pretty great. Salad was just great and the freshly baked bread was the perfect addition to make it all go in harmony. Pricing is fantastic for what you get. The owner was kinda and friendly. The only thing that can improve is the cleanliness of the store. Not necessarily new equipment, I’m ok with older furniture when food is this good but store could be more clean.
Mmm the Humus was great accompanied by the bread. Prices are quite high and to eat on disposable ware for what they offer is quite a disappointment.Cesar salad and lamb is definitely not their specialty.
I was totally blown away by the falafel wrap! So fresh (I watched him fry up the falafel which is always a great time), and the herby seasoning in the tahini AND the hot sauce is to die for. Do NOT skip the hot sauce, it is unique and wonderful. Can't wait to come back.
Give three stars only because the owner was a nice guy. I had a beef shawarma sandwich and a plate of humus today. Unfortunately the shawarma was not anything close to the real shawarma. Dry meat with no flavor at all and it was made on a gyro sandwich bread. The humus had no taste at all. Again , the owner was a nice Negin but he was the only one working there with no help at all. I won't be going back but I wish him the best.
delicious food, fast and great service will be back for sure!
Fantastic food here. Falafel, the Greek fries, chicken schwarma, all sooooo good!
We loved our experience here! Came in with our 18 month old baby and they immediately brought us a high chair from the back and gave her a big piece of pita for entertainment. We ordered the falafel and lamb shawarma with hummus , babaganoush, and dolma. All was delicious. The service couldn't haven't been more attentive and low key about our active baby.
My girlfriend is Lebanese so we eat this food all over the country. It was a great experience! The gentleman working the counter explained everything and was patient and gave me good recommendations. The food is flavorful and authentic and I felt great after eating it. It was timely and delicious. I comfortably ate inside. I appreciated the experience and will return again soon. I like Almanqal compared to other like-restaurants in the area (we’ve tried most of them). Fair value for good quality food!
This is some of the best lamb I have ever tasted in Seattle. Found this gem while strolling 45th one day--so happy I did. Owner is super friendly and a fantastic chef! Will be back many times!
