Fish and chips are awesome! The sides are so so.
One of the best clam chowders I've had. You all got to try it! Now for the 4 star review. The fries were cold. I ordered an extra large tarter and got a small one. The cod fish was great. Cooked perfectly. Also, please update your tracker when food is ready. I even walked in 10 minutes before it was supposed to be ready and it was already sitting there.
Let me start off by saying that Spuds on Alkí has to be my number one place that comes to mind when I think of fish and chips. From their uniquely awesome vinegar selection to their house made tartar sauce or their thick sliced perfectly large pieces of True Cod that all come together with an x-tra large soda and fries to top off their simply named "The Special". If any of you are reading this right at this moment, trust me when I say you will not be disappointed.
They were open when it snowed the day after Christmas. Warm, delicious & fresh! Saved the day, since fast food was the only thing still open. Plus a view to boot!
I orderee Halibut and Fries and, Chicken and Fries. The fish and the chicken were okay. The fries was burnt, unsalted, not crunchy.
Amazing fish and chips, i took a 3 piece, it was sufficient for me. Fries were a lot though. Also you get a nice view of sound from here.
It's always busy, and always worth the wait for your order. The wait is typically brief. Parking is easier than it appears...pull into the lot (to the right of Spuds) and you are likely to find an open spot to park. I always recommend dining in and heading upstairs. The views are breathtaking.

Fun place to dine and look at the water. The food was okay. The fish was cooked to perfection and flakey but not a lot of flavor. The Chowder was good. The fries were really good. Not sure but it seems the tartar sauce recipe changed. It seemed sweet. I did not care for it but others may like it.
same wonderful SPUDS with the same size fish as it was decades ago... LOVE this place
