I hit up this drive thru when I'm feeling up for a root beer float and some chicken tenders. A&W is a great old school chain. Glad to see it surviving in some form.
This is a KFC/A&W. We go there for the KFC which is still excellent fried chicken
U would think that all the A&W's would have the same menu...this is the second one I've been to that doesn't have the root beer freeze (which is a blended root beer float) and that's extremely disappointing considering that's twice now I drove out of the way to an A&W for something they don't have. If they serve them @ 1 then they should serve them @ all!!Update- and they sum how managed to completely miss half of my order so I'm just dumbfounded as to how that even happened & I don't have time to wait and/or go back. Extremely frustrating.
I ordered an A1 large meal. And a regular cheese curd. What I got was. Two burgers I didn't order a small fry and a small curd.I did not get the food I ordered and after being asked to pulled forward I never received my drink. I could not go back for it bc I had to be to work. I got no receipt and they never said a price I handed my card over and was charged $23 for the wrong food and missing drink. Not happy about it...they also have no root beer either....
We the chili cheese dog and Nashville hot tenders and both felt unwell a few hours later. Pretty disappointed honestly.

I expected a similar atmosphere to A&W in Canada. Not so, but not bad either.
