Their pies are beautiful, tasty, and just a little flaky. My favorite is the cherry pie and my husband loves the French apple.
It might feel a little pricey for dessert but their pies are worth every bite! And kudos to actually being open into the evening in the Junction!
The pies are delicious but a slice is 8 bucks now. The slices also seem to be smaller. They used to slice the pie right in front of you and it would just barely fit the packaging. The pies are pre-sliced now. I’ve never had a problem with customer service at the WS location.
We always buy their chicken pot pies and shepherd’s pies as they are the best, but unfortunately the orders we picked up on December 24th were extremely dry, there was zero sauce and only peas and chicken. Normally there are potatoes, peas and carrots with the sauce making it moist and very flavorful. Very disappointed
We love pie! Took the pie class a few years ago, it was great. The pies are generally awesome - some of the best in Seattle. But they were super short staffed the last time we went and the person was all over the place- overwhelmed. And the time before the pie crust was off, we tossed half the pie. Besides these two recent visits, we've been loyal A la Mode consumers for 5, plus years! Give it 4-5 stars for most of the pies.
The crust is always just right and the flavor combinations are curious and tasty. They are just Great Eating. I go as often as my waist line allows
The pumpkin pie and apple we ordered for Thanksgiving were scrumptious! They are expensive but oh so delicious. Will definitely purchase here again!
A la Mode Pies has a nice selection and pies were good. however for $8 a slice or $16 for two slices, I had expectations beyond good. My friend who I was treating quipped, that we could have gotten as good of a product at a local grocery bakery down the street, I have to agree.Sadly, the product does not justify the price point.
got to love a standalone pie shop. I think I've tried every variety of sweet pie. all where good but no stand-outs.
Can't speak for all on the menu but what I tried (Mexican Chocolate) was just mediocre if not subpart. The employee didn't seem to be happy to be there either from the way we were serviced.
