One of the best burgers that I’ve ever had! The meat was cooked to perfection, and the toppings and selections made everything come together. At some point I will want to try their other burgers on the menu. The side dishes weren’t on par though. I thought the truffle garlic fries, popcorn chicken, and fried string beans were all just ok at best. Honestly, I could have foregone the sides and order another burger instead. The Espresso Oreo milkshake was good though!Honestly great experience though. We ate in their outdoor dining area and the staff were all friendly and prompt. Definitely recommend going here if you’re in Ballard and are in the mood for a burger ?.
I ordered a veggie burger and it was good. If it was a little more spicy and tangy (though I asked them to remove tomatoes) it would have been a great burger. The pattie was really good. Bun was a bit smaller and even before I started to eat, the content was slipping out. It was messy to eat the whole burger but I had fun. The garlic fries were also great but broken in small pieces so even though taste was good, it was no fun. My brother ordered the pike burger and it was really really spicy. We are used to spicy food but this was so spicy, we had to have a dessert afterwards. Service was amazing. Ambiance was wonderful. So overall, 4* it is.
I got the Ballard sandwich without the bacon. It had a unique taste, which was good as I was looking for a nice change from your everyday burger ?. The fries was okay, a little bit on the salty side but I like that way so I didn’t mind. I also got the espresso oreo milkshake and I liked it very much!! Overall I had a very pleasant experience and I would recommend it.
This place makes a damn fine burger, but the price is formidable. $15 will get you a burger sans sides. Sides average an additional $8-10. It adds up quick. None the less I do recommend it if you like good quality burgers.
I'm a huge fan of great Seattle burgers, and I keep a list of places to send friends and visitors. I love 8 oz, great comfy atmosphere and the burgers are outstanding. I like the house '8 oz. Burger' that comes with bacon, Beecher's cheddar and arugula. Get the truffled garlic fries to go with.
Great service, nice juicy burgers and really enjoyed the garlic fries and broccoli. I tried the Jackson burger (pictured) which vibes with bbq sauce charred onions and bacon. My brother tried the Pike which uses habanero jam-- be warned this is an incredibly spicy burger from a guy that likes spice, he says heed the warning of your server--it's REALLY hot! They also have vegetarian options and will sub out the bun in any burger as a lettuce wrap so there's really a little something for everyone to enjoy.
I have always been a fan of their gourmet burgers. I don't usually like vegetables on my burger, but they nail it with the flavoring. Their fries also have a nice crisp. Give their burgers a try. You won't be disappointed
Miss this place after moving to Portland..best jam slider hamburgers and garlic fries we ever had!!!
Drinks and appetizers were perfect . Waited over 20 minutes for our burgers to finally arrive food was room temperature . How long did are food sit in the pass window? This has never happened before . 6 unhappy customers !
The burgers are fantastic. I've tried them all at this point and I have enjoyed every one. Don't forget to try the sweet potato tots with the curry sauce. May as well have a shake to top it all off.
