We needed a quick lunch option and found a nearby Wendy's. Should have known from the long line of cars in the drive through that we could be in for a wait. The dining room was open with a small group inside eating, so figured we'd go in to order and get back on the road. Not the case. Ordering was quick, however, even with a good number of staff on hand, seemed disjointed and obviously focusing on the drive through orders.Turns out that we weren't the only waiting parties, when a drive through customer walked in to inquire about her salad that was still not ready after waiting for 20 minutes. We managed to get our order and out the door after a 20 minute wait. The food; filled empty stomachs but nothing to rave about. Lesson learned; next time we see the long line, we'll keep driving.
I’ve been to this Wendy’s several times and a piece of advice I have for you is to not come here if you see more than 2 cars in line. If you decide to go anyways be prepared to wait 10-30 minutes. They take extremely long with each car even when I just ordered a lemonade I had to wait several minutes for them to hand it to me even though I could see it sitting on the counter.
I waited for 15 minutes at the front window waiting for my food. My frosty was melted, and my drink had literally a almost a full cup of just ice. I didn’t pay $4 for freaking ice. Absolutely ridiculous.
how does this Wendy's make profit ? slow as 15 - 20 minutes in drive through just to hear them say it will be 5 more minutes for chicken.. fries aren't fresh but they are Salty . and my dog loves chicken nuggets , 3 times so far I've paid the price and Fido was disappointed. yes I watched in horror as you poured the tail end of the strawberry syrup and the look on your face said it all .. even I wanted to gag.
The lobby appeared clean & the staff were polite & accommodating but my order was wrong & I feel like I ordered something popular off the menu. I was not happy with the location of the handicap parking being in line of the drive thru traffic. It is very difficult to get in & out of without waiting for the next polite driver to let you in/out between cars.
The line was HUGE at the drive thru. I still feel Wendy's processed people as fast as possible. My order was fantastic. Sea salt on your fries makes them so much better than any other fast food place! Great meal!
Honestly, I only went to drive through to get a Frosty. I ended up waiting behind a car that was already there at the drive-thru window when I pulled up, for about 10 minutes. I'm not sure why it took so long, but it would have been nice to have the lady at the window give a simple apology for it taking so long. All I got was a quick "Here's your frosty." No eye contact. It wasn't rude, but it wasn't overly nice either. Oh well, the frosty was good.
You just can't beat the $5 biggie bag or the 4 for $5. I can spend $5 and be so full, and have nuggets left over for later.Love the customer service at the Canal locationAlthough their drive thru times need some work!
Clearly a frustrating job for the rude girl working the cash window. I'm not extremely friendly either at times. So I don't work with the public or any customer service related positions. One bad apple can.... Despite the food being great and other employees being polite and personable I'll prolly drive 2 more blocks to BK.
Been sitting in line for almost 30 minutes and still have 6 cars in front of me...I know it's Sat. Night but wow......there have been approx. 9 cars that seen the line and just pulled thru and left......the food is good but u better have 45 minutes to an hour if they are even a little busy..
