We called ahead of time and they were able to sit our party of 18 for breakfast! We were coming back from court to celebrate an adoption so it was nice to get in right away. I had no idea they served breakfast. Even though we were a large group we didn’t feel spread out in great service. Our food still came out together. The food was really good and we all ordered different dishes (besides the children). The sterling breakfast sauce is amazing!

Price is a bit high but you can't beat the salad bar. One trip through is a good meal and the clam chowder is highly recommended. The stuffed potato selection is also really good but priced high for me. Restaurant is always clean and the staff is excellent.

Delicious food! Attentive service and reasonably priced. We loved having our pets on the patio too! Reason for the 4 star: No choice on how burger meat is cooked, all are cooked medium.

Great food and service. Beautiful view of the river.

Great food and service. Excellent view. Clean and well decorated. I do not understand people complaining about too many items on the menu. I like having options. I can't stand going to those places that have five things on the menu and none of them sound good. The food has much improved from when they started out. Keep it up Sterlings, most of us love ya despite the ones who will never be happy with anything.

Since the 1980s I have returned to this restaurant because it has consistent and professional the food is delicious the service is prompt and the location is excellent I will return here when I come to the Richland area.I have visited this restaurant several times since my first review and I have never been disappointed it gets better and better

Came here because the Holiday Inn next door does not service breakfast. That food was so amazing. I couldnt get enough of it. I had the country fried steak which was good

Service was good, food was good. The view of the river was also nice...I had a watermelon margarita...didn't taste like watermelon, was very tart, and appeared that they used grapefruit juice? I don't know.I know that every place is short staffed and whatnot, but when she brought out the food, she left the check. I know that it was probably to save a "step" in our process of checking out, but when she left the check, it felt like she wasn't coming back to see if we needed anything else. Maybe I'm old school, check should have been kept until we were ready to check out. And...she didn't return right away, more like 15-20 minutes...didn't bring steak sauce...

The food was not fresh, the salad was brown, and the salad bar area was dirty. Service was so slow, some of us had our food, and were finished eating before others at our table got their food.

We went there for my birthday with my parents, grandmother, elderly uncle, boyfriend and two kids. I've never ever had a bad time at this restaurant, but this time pretty much made it, so I have ZERO desire to go back. 1. The place was soo loud... the music was cranked as well.. felt like we had to yell to talk to eachother. 2. The food was just not up to the standards I have for this resturant being we've been going there for years now. "burnt French toast on one side and good on the other.. im sorry toss it and start over next time.. pretty bad when two different plates at the table where burnt. then instead of asking would you like me to remake it or is there something else I can bring you they just say ok ill have that remade and walk off..." 3. customer service was horrible.. when you have to ask for straws and then remind her and she only comes back with 3 for a table of 7.. come on.. she didn't check on us most the time we asked another waitress or the people bringing out dishes to the tables.. that's not customer service. Needless to say, I definitely won't be going back for a while.. maybe they can get their act together in the meantime. also funny we ran into friends today who said man we went to breakfast at sterlings this weekend and it's was the worst it's ever been.. they said they didn't even finish.. paid and walked out.. just kind of ironic that it happened to both of our families one day apart. Seriously, I hope yall read this and make some changes sonwe can go back and enjoy the restaurant like we did in years past... its to expensive otherwise to go waste money to have an experience like this last one.
