God dang they give you a ton of ice.Third time in. Third time asking.Don’t try to ask for light ice.They don’t seem to understand or care.Want that 15% tip though.Real nice until it’s not your turn at the counter anymore.Already got your money.First time I let it go.Second time I asked.Reply was coffees and drinks are made to specific standards.Third time was. Sorry I got confused.What’s the point?The point is. When you ask for something a certain way. You should get it.My kid is obsessed with this place. Don’t see why.
Love the boba here for sure but today we were told not to ask for tapioca before 11 o’clock so just a heads up for y’all too, incase you want tapioca in your boba… before 11 a.m. ???

More like 'Novel Tea and Kind of Coffee'. Coffee is not their main thing there. Mostly their $5 teas. The bagged coffee they sell is already ground so tells you they're not much of a true coffee shop. And they can make an Americano in like 10 seconds which means it's not real espresso. Seating area is cool and it's never busy. Nice folks. Just don't go for coffee.
This is a cute coffee shop with plenty of seating. They're almost strictly coffee and tea with limited pastry/food options. Luckily there's plenty of food options available in the area. This place is right next to the park and the art gallery so it's an easy place to get to if you're wanting to take your kids out or go on a fun date. I definitely recommend getting your caffeine fix here. My only recommendation for the owners is to add some smoothie options, especially for the summer months.
I am so glad I decided to try boba again at this location! I have been a couple times before with a friend and didn't really like what I ordered (no one's fault but mine!). But this week I came back and asked the barista what she recommended, and she gave me a delicious blended taro with boba and everything! She even offered to make me something else if I didn't like it- so kind! I came back the next day for the same drink! It is a beautiful little shop and I always find it full of life, and lots of people enjoy sitting and meeting with friends there! 100% recommend this place! Thanks for good service and amazing drinks!
Coffees are always a joy and delicious once my wife and I figure out the parking lot to the building we visit very often.
Wife and I love this place!! All the baristas are very friendly and are great at their jobs.We’ve tried their bubble tea and coffee, everything we’ve tried so far has been SO GOOD. Definitely an underrated spot in tri.
Novel has been out favorite boba tea location for years, however, with recent menu changes the tea flavors and specialty options have tanked. We are saddened with these changes as we love Novel. ❤ Please go back to the old options!
