Had the best pork tamales I’ve ever eaten, and I am a 64 year old Las Vegan where we know tamales. I absolutely loved the white maize they used, and their rice was flavorful and moist. I can’t do heat and the green sauce was perfect??
Miss Tamales is always a quality source of good food. I do agree with others that it is a bit expensive. But after seeing there kitchen and watching them operate, while dining, I am impressed. I have 15 years of restaurant management experience. This place is well run and clean. My most important thoughts. After that, theybarw also very tasty with there traditional use of spices and herbs.
Very nice environment to sit down and eat in. The chicken tamales were very good and definitely authentic. The whole restaurant was very cleanly and the staff was friendly/nice. There are seating options both inside and outside. Definitely would recommend to others!
First time trying Tamales! Love them so much! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Went in to eat with my elderly mother and when I placed my order the person who took our order asked if we could eat fast because they close soon.Having grown up in the food service industry, it’s rude to ask any customer to eat fast. A simple “just to let you know we close at 7” should suffice. I was so shocked that we were asked to eat fast we just left.I like the Vegan tamales but this just left a bad taste with me.
We come here with regular frequency for the amazing breakfast burritos. They are so huge that we usually have to wrap them back up for tomorrow. The green sauce is also delicious.
This is a hidden gem they have the best tamales I’ve tried in the tricities. I live all the way in south ridge, and I was hesitating to drive because I was afraid they weren’t going to be good and trust me the drive is worth it. They are big and have a lot of meat and very tasteful also the place was very clean and all they staff was very friendly. This is my Tamale spot from now on
Wasn’t authentic at all. Lots of food for the money but just wasn’t Mexican tasting. We won’t be back. The sausage was not authentic at all. Needs more flavor! Also when they give out sauce to give more than 1 per huge burrito would be nice. We originally ordered 3 burritos and they only put in 2 sauce’s.
We came for the breakfast burritos. They were large and full of ingredients. However, they weren’t very flavorful. I really disliked that their sausage tastes like the precooked soft sausage crumbles. We also ordered a chorizo and a ham burrito. The chorizo was a bit better because of the flavor of the meat. But they were all pretty bland otherwise. I like the flavor of the green sauce. But this is not my favorite place around for breakfast burritos.
This place’s breakfast burritos are flavorful, fresh, and always packed to the brim! The quality is a consistent 100, and the service is always very friendly. I love the bilingual staff and very clean environment. And the music selection is just :’) perfección.
