In the past I've had great food there and I suppose I will too they claim that their dining room is open but I wonder Yet to prove that to me
This place has been a local gem for as long as they've been around, It's consistently excellent and in decades of eating there I've never had a negative experience
Subpar food, horrible service. A friend of mine called to make an order for her and her husband, as well as me and my girlfriend and two children that all live together. Initially she was met like any other takeout call, but had forgotten to mention that one of the kids as well as herself have severe nut allergies. She called back to inform them real quick, and the person on the phone argued that our order had no nuts in anything anyway, which is fine but it usually is cooked with everything else on the same stoves. The child is under 3 and it is a life threatening allergic reaction. The man continued to argue for about 30 seconds and proceeded to cancel the order altogether and hang up. My girlfriend called back to try again, and asked for a manager straight off, to which she was informed by the same man that he was indeed the manager. After that, he proceeded to ask very rudely about if she was calling about the nut allergy again. We did end up still getting our order despite the conflict, but I would highly not recommend going here or even ordering takeout. The food itself wasn't even the greatest in the area anyway, paired with particularly horrible service makes it pretty clear why. Also, both phone interactions happened within 5 minutes.
While the food may have been good....The male who answered the phone is completely unprofessional and rude. I finished placing my order, I realized I forgot to mention a nut Allergy and called right back, when mentioning it he informed me I didn't order anything with nuts and I would be fine.... I was trying to inform them that I needed the kitchen aware. And due to him getting rude and upset he canceled my order and refused to serve us... When my friend called back a little later he answered the phone asking if she was calling about her nut Allergy when she asked for a manager.... Talk about unprofessional as heck!!!!!
We were there twice this month. Excellent Food. Highly recommend. Fast service and very good food. Going back soon.
Doesn't compare to Chinese food in a bigger city, but not bad. The quality is fine and the menu is traditional American Chinese
If I could give six stars, I would! My family LOVES this place. We've eaten at Golden Palace for years now, and have never had a bad experience. The food is phenomenal, reasonably priced, and the staff treats you like family. An amazing business you should support!
Me and our family and friends have quit going here because they apparently prefer not to see us and let us dine in there dining room like other places let us do!! Take out is fine but it should be optional and not permanent. Ridiculous and makes you feel unwanted
One of my associates recommended this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. Food is excellent, portions are generous and prices are reasonable.
Awesome food! Almond chicken is the best meal on the planet! Guy behind the counter is a smart kid!
