We were so impressed with the delicious food, lots of it, delicious barbecue sauce, Perfect pulled pork, fantastic reubin sandwich, all of the sides were good, they accommodated my dad's love of onions, and to top it all off they brought out delicious cupcakes and lit a candle and sang to us. You cannot beat this place and the loving care they treat the customer's with.
First time ordering from here but not the first time eating their food. On this day I ordered the BBQ Chicken and Ribs combo plate the ribs were very tender and moist without being overly greasy and the chicken was cooked just right with s liberal amount of sauce cooked onto and coating it. For my 2 sides I got an order of baked beans and cornbread. The beans were very good, rich and flavorful, the cornbread had a very southern flavor to it (I'm from Texas) yet was just slightly moist, just perfect to me.
My favorite BBQ place in town but they also have great sandwiches and burgers but their Mexican dishes are very good too - love this place and the lady owner has the most contagious smile ? Love going there as I ate there more after hearing about the house fire they went through. I visit every Spring & Summer when I stay in Horn Rapids ?
Baby Js interior is just basic. But the tastes are fantastic. First, the applewood touch is delicious. Second, the bacon cheeseburgers with just the right condiments built into them, and topped with a very nice bun, are the best you'll find in the Tri Cities (Richland, Kennewick, and Pasco). And oh my, the home/fresh cut fries are out of the 50's. Firm texture, fresh cut, potato, skin still on them like Mom used to prepare, are just plain tasty and "fun" to dip. Currently, the cheeseburger and fry basket goes for about 12.50 including tax. I will back this basket with any 14-to-18-dollar burger in the TC's. No kidding. Ya'all need to try this mom-and-pop shop for a great taste treat. Check out the on-line menu- there's more than just what I always get/rave about. Cheers! You step out of the car and BBQ smoke smell immediately makes you hungry. I picked up a pound of pulled pork to take home for dinner. Delicious. I'll be back.
Very good flavor on ribs (over cooked and to dry for my tasting pleasure. Sides were decently prepared with flavor. Used food truck
First time to Baby J’s , I had a great experience . I got the pulled pork plate with 2 sides , baked beans and coleslaw. The pulled pork was so tender and had a beautiful smokiness. The coleslaw was also good,veggies chopped and tangy . The beans could have been cooked more and there was too much sauce
Food is fantastic. I would recommend ordering ahead of time or plan on hanging around for a while. We had a 35 minute wait after ordering at noon. Maybe it's quicker in the off meal hours.
Excellent food with a large variety. Something for everyone. The nicest people you ever met make the best barbeque in Tri-Cities.
Wow....just wow! How have I never been here before? This place should be featured on Diners, Drive ins and Dives! Small eating area but OMG food! We had the pulled pork and rib plate with cornbread muffins and coleslaw along with a pastrami sandwich with potato salad. Both entrees could easily feed 2 people each!
