Came here about 2 weeks ago and was so impressed!! Bun dishes were excellent, as were the spring rolls. Big portions, no fat on meat. Super fresh!! Will be back!!
I've been coming here since they opened, at first the quality and portion size was great. I came in almost everyday for lunch(take out). Slowly they became very inconsistent. Broth always diffrent, portions getting smaller and never see the owner anymore. Today was my last day eating here. I called in my order(1:30) and specifically asked to make sure the soup has enough broth. The guy on the phone sounded like there was a problem and said I should buy more broth, at $25 for 2 bowels of soup I feel it should be quality like it used to be. The broth tasted very watered down and they give to many noodles instead of meat and veggies. I'll go back to my usual spot Cat Sang in Kent. Alot of new restaurants lower their quality after establishing a customer base, and this is one of them.
NOT the place if you looking for a good Bun Bo Hue. We ordered the Bun Bo Hue & it tasted like straight water. NO flavor we didn't even eat it after taking 2 bites... & I told the guy who sat us down that it wasn't good that it tasted like water. He apologized (he was great) BUT he still made me pay for it... I paid $13 dollars to eat water.... not the best customer service... I wish I could give it no stars.UPDATE: I changed the stars to a 3. The manager refunded me and apologized. He was super kind & handled the situation professionally. Thank you.
Very good service, the food is always fresh.
This place is a hidden gem. This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurant in the West side of Wa for me personally. We had the Pho Dac Biet(meats combo) and Vermicelli bowl with Grilled pork, shrimps, and eggs rolls. Both dishes hit the spot for us. The Pho was flavorful and very fragrance ( which i found lack at many other Vietnamese restaurant because they either skimmed the bone while cooking broth or doesn't prepped their spices correctly). The vermicelli was absolutely the best one i found so far, their pork and shrimp was marinated with homemade sauce (tasted just like those i ate in Vietnam), not some generic teriyaki sauce, their dipping/dressing sauce for the vermicelli was nice and balanced between sweet and salty. Overall 10/10 for both the food and service. Definitely coming back soon next visit.
This place is excellent. We've been here twice in the past week. The fried tofu is the best tofu I've had in my life. The vegetarian egg rolls are great, the pho is great, general tso's chicken is great. If you're looking for vietnamese cuisine in renton, this is the place.
Didn't know this place was here. What a hidden gem. Great flavor broth and portion size is on point. Very family friendly and our server was very kind. Happy we stopped in today. Only feedback I can give is wish the spring rolls wasn't so expensive normally $4.50 to $6 tops but here $7.50 other than that no complaints.
Decent place to grab lunch. Prices are also decent with today’s standard. Bowls used to be $8.99 back then and now they’re averaging $15 a bowl. So their pricing here was definitely good. The broth is very hot (excellent thing), tasted alright. Lacked the INTENSE raw flavor. Seems generic or washed out a tiny bit. I could be wrong and probably am, but it’s just lacking something, I can’t put my fingers on it. Meat and noodle portions are insane! Very generous filling amount.Their pot stickers were delicious. Crunchy, great flavor, and it was their free special for the New Years which was very nice of themOverall I would give the pho 9/10. I believe I’m just very picky. This restaurant lacks reviews but I am 100% confident they will start to receive more and more as they keep progressing. I plan on coming back again and would love to change my rating from a 4 to a 5. An update will be attached below.Overall, a great place to hang out and eat
You need to try their deep-fried wonton. You will know that this stuff is homemade and fresh (how often do you think deep-fried can feel fresh???). You will taste the meat, the fat, and the crunchy cabbage they put in. The umami flavor will overtake your senses, especially because it’s not overwhelmed by salt and seasoning. Lovely service!!!!
Definitely wasn't a 5 star but not quite a 3 star. I ordered the tofu pho with beef broth(Perhaps the mistake?) And the shrimp spring rolls. The spring rolls were good, but average, and my biggest issue lies with the noodles in the pho. They were soggy and seemed as if they had been soaking in the broth, they also got my order wrong. The service was good and the broth was excellent.
