I had the lunch special, any pizza (personal size) and salad. The pizza was tasty and filling. The choices for pizzas was fun with lots of variety. I was able to take a few slices home. So plenty of food for a good price. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun. The service was amazing. He was friendly and welcoming. The pizza came out pretty fast, another plus if you happen to be in a rush.
I ordered pickup here and put the order under my first name and phone number. Somehow when I picked up they couldn’t find my order because it was under the name Bendover. It even showed up on my order receipt. Is this high school all over again? Sure felt like it. I’ve been here a number of times over the years but I will not be coming here again and will let my friends know to also not come here.
I've been here a few times now. The food is basic, but not terrible. The wings, the pizzas, and the walnut salad are the best things I've had so far. I love the atmosphere and the music. The drinks are good and creative, tho if you try to order outside the menu they may not be very knowledgeable. Got a very strange look and conversation when I asked for an Irish coffee. It's a pretty decent place to get a drink and pizza while listening to acdc. I'll likely go back.
I love the ambience and the pizza at the Rock in the Landing. Love the brick walls, the fireplace, and the huge windows - a very cozy setting.The pizza was so good - perfectly cooked crust, delicious red sauce, and lots of fresh ingredients.Service was friendly and fast, despite the full restaurant. Extra thanks to my server and the chef for the extra care regarding my food allergies.The one negative I noticed is that the air was smoky in the restaurant, I don't know if it was from the pizza ovens or the fireplace. That won't stop me from going back. The pizza was too good!
Obviously great pizza and drinks. They brew their own beers which are great! Personal favorite food items are mozz bread, bang a gong, and my generation.I'm writing this review specifically because on the night of 12/22/21 our server/bartender Chris did a fantastic job. Best service I've had in the bar area in maybe the last 2 years? Service had been kind of poor for a while (long wait times) but it's been much better recently. Chris killed it on all fronts with a packed bar. Huge shout out, he deserves a raise.
I like the interior design of this joint. The pizza is pretty decent, though I wouldn't say that's what I'd come here for.
Ordered takeout fish & chips and the skillet cookie. The fish and chips didn’t come with tartar sauce, there was no silverware, and the cookie was burnt…
So many good things to say about this place. Good music, delicious food, and Great service. The bucket of Margarita hits the spot. I judge a pizza by the sauce and the crust. If I eat the crust. It's good. I ate it all. Treat yourself and come here. You won't regret it.
I really like this place - the atmosphere, the music, decor inside the restaurant is very different and interesting. Food was pretty good too. I ordered a cheese pizza (personal size) and it was a perfect portion - not too much food but just enough. I was satisfied with my meal. Crust is probably one of the better ones I've had, pizza sauce is eeehhh, I thought it could have been a little better but that's just my own preference. Will definitely be back to try other foods they have.
I love the food here and it's a great place to catch a game. Love the Margherita pizza for sure! Great service and staff too.
