Good place for a drink. The food is decent too. On Friday nights they have a standup show. Right across the street there's also a pinball arcade owned by the same people, so all in all a good time.
Great local pub with excellent burgers, lots of union stickers and decor. Friendly bartenders and servers!
Great customer service. I ordered tuna met with side salad and both were large portions. Great value for cost and exceptionally tasty.My waitress was attentive immediately and recommended both a beer and a sandwich. The place was hoping for a Monday night. I'll definitely be back.
We had a great experience at the Local. We came in during happy hour (4pm-7pm) and found an open table right away. There are pool tables, darts, and arcade games. It’s very relaxed and a great place to unwind after work. We order the poutine and a patty melt for dinner. The poutine was delicious, the patty melt was yummy, and the fries were perfectly crispy. The perfect bar and grill food.
I miss being more local to the Local, but they're a must-visit when I'm near enough, and sometimes worth the trip even when I'm not. Their food is astonishingly good. The burgers are my favorite in the area and their nachos and quesadillas are unbeatable.The service is always prompt, attentive, and pretty awesome to talk to and interact with. They're also always able to speak to their impressive tap list and make good recommendations based on your tastes.
I think we hit the Local on an off night, we usually love this place. Our appetizer was delivered after our food and we had to remind the waiter that we had ordered one. Food was cold. They weren't particularly busy so I'm not sure what happened.... We'll try again.
Service was great, food was average and drinks were alright. A local spot that is lovely and have events. I happen to stop by on trivia night. Great experience, 10/10 would do it again!
My coworkers and I would come here quite often for Happy Hour after work. This was our Go-To spot to relax from a stressful week and enjoy some drinks, good food, and darts. However, we will no longer be coming here due to our most recent experience. Our table was "put on pause" from getting anymore drinks since "we've been there for a while". One of my friends asked the bartender if we were being obnoxious or loud and they replied saying that we weren't but "wanted to keep us safe". I don't understand what they mean by that. NO ONE was drunk or even close to it. We're all responsible drinkers and have never had any issues with this place. If there are new regulations that are in place, they really should make people aware of that ahead of time. On top of that, the bartenders weren't even friendly this time.
Dive+ in Renton with the nicest staff you’ll ever meet. Poutine with pulled pork? Check. Fried pickles? Yes. The burgers all looked great, too. Decent HH and really enjoyed the cocktails. If you’ve never had a red wine cocktail, the New York Sour is simple and tasty.
