Nice, clean pub with high tables for 6-8 seated. Friendly bar with many taps. Staff was super friendly, accommodating us late in their day. Kitchen was quick with tasty food. We had the Cuban, a 2-slider plate, and bacon mac-n-cheese, all very good. The fries were especially tasty!Feels like a great, easy place, with Thursday trivia nights and so forth. We will go again! So should you!
I have been here several times and never had a bad experience. Casual atmosphere with excellent food. They have the best bacon wrapped bronze in Renton. Reuben is to die for as well as the steak sandwich. Staff is friendly, efficient, knowledgeable without being overbearing
Good garlic onion rings. Not a great cider selection. But overall a good experience with bartender and atmosphere
They had good wings and a nice tap variety for beers. Felt it could have had better ciders.
We live a few blocks away and are obsessed with hop garden! Always good food, beer and service. The burgers, mozzarella sticks, fish tacos, pasta and literally everything never disappoints! You can bring your dog outside to the beer garden also.
Went in for the first time let it be known I have never been here. No help on options on food, I ended up with the nachos they were delivered cold. Ordered a Tito’s with a pineapple back got charged for the pineapple back. Not only that my Tito’s was watered down. Just a total disappointment, won’t return for sure.
I came for dinner while visiting from out of town on business. Walked here because it had good reviews despite being in an area without much around. I walked in at 829 and 2 steps in the bartender told me there’s no food. I mentioned I was on foot and asked if I could buy anything premade like a batch of fries etc. She said no and there’s not really anything else around. I asked when they close and she said 9 but they start shutting down by 830. She was really very rude to me despite the fact that I was on foot, it was raining, and I was ready to spend money on food and drinks. She instead told me I could probably walk to downtown. Beer is probably good here but unfortunately I couldn’t make it that far in the door thanks to this unwelcoming bartender lady.
The Hop Garden in Renton was exactly what we were after, relaxed atmosphere with great food, a huge selection of beers, and very friendly and helpful staff.
Cool small place. Good beer selection if you like IPA's. Friendly staff. Got take out food after a few brews & it was great.
