Late post, my husband took me here because of the reviews and images on Google. To our surprise it was definitely a diamond in the rough. We enjoyed our meals as they tasted authentically local and it was cooked to order. The spam katsu musubi was amazing we took some home. If you're in the area make a stop you won't regret it! I'm only giving it 4 stars as there weren't many places to sit as the inside is very small but I'm sure that's by design and for overhead purposes.
A true taste of the islands. I have missed Portugese sausage and rice Moco since leaving Maui. Also their Katsu Spam Misubis are AMAZING!!! If you're not already on your way or ordering this, you're missing out. Mahalo Saimin we'll be back soon, Aloha.
I had the Hawaiian Saimin as it is the namesake. Absolutely delicious. Like a Hawaiian version of Pho or Ramen. Chewy and flavorful eggy noodles with earthy broth and just the right amount of protein. I look forward to trying the Loco moco.
You need to try the Portuguese sausage musubi, my God. Everything else perfect and like other Hawaiian food from Hawaii.
Love the food here. The menu has lots of options. I recently tried the fried rice omelet made with bacon and Portuguese sausage. Delicious.
this was our first time at this location. a couple years ago they were in a different was the food was still ono!! love this spot too bad they're 2 1/2 hours from Vancouver, Wa.
Sometimes you can't get to the islands to get your Hawaiian food fix. If a plane is out of the question, go here! Amazing menu and delicious food!
Good food. I really enjoy the loco moco for a comfort meal. The mochiko chicken is crispy and tasty. I've had the saimin, though can't remember which. It's a nice changeup from pho and ramen. The new location has a few small tables, but it's not really meant to dine in, I suspect. Friendly service from the friendly staff. They close at 5, so if you want it for dinner, gotta pickup before then.
Spam moco is delicious!!! Exactly what I needed to eat.
