My group of four walked into this restaurant for breakfast to be greeted by the waitress turning around, looking us dead in the faces, and yelling “Are you kidding me” followed by a fake smile - probably after she saw our faces of disgust. We turned around and immediately left while she was saying “no it’s okay grab a seat”. If we caught you close to closing, just let us know you’re closing soon. This was the rudest experience and I will never step foot in this establishment again.
Awesome service and food. Cute little diner that opened in 1917 that I am happy to support!
Great little diner. Prices are very good and so is the food.
Amazing service from the second I walked in the door! Reminded me of a spot back home that had that same family home cooked food and hospitality. Stacy was awesome... kept my coffee full and is great at what she does. The food was delicious. We be back for sure glad I stumbled across this great place. Cool history and also has a bar. Great Experience!
What a find! Being a Midwest boy I don't expect much from breakfast joints in Washington. But, what a home food feel kinda Diner! The food is fresh and made to order. A guy next to me ordered biscuits and gravy,, chicken fried steak,, and hashbrowns and the stacked it all on top of eachother. They knew most tge customers on a first name basis. Most everything is scratch made and Ms. Stacy is super welcoming. I highly recommend this hidden gem.
Really good food and great menu. Wish they asked for proof of vaccination like they are supposed to. I also like that the cook has a tip jar.
Talk about a blast from the past! Cool atmosphere, small business, old school diner vibes. Ate breakfast here 2 days in a row. Food is really good and made from scratch.
Ms. sandy was wonderful! it's a cute little diner. would definitely recommend. I will be coming back
This was my first time eating here. I wanted to visit a “diner” style restaurant and this place was really cool! I loved the cozy historical feel of this place. I ordered a salisbury steak and it was delicious! It came with mashed potatoes, a side of vegetables, and a gravy sauce. It tasted homemade and cozy :)
We placed our order, waited on hour. The waitress was a mess. I'm not sure if our ticket was ever given to the kitchen. We left without eating. The waitress did charge us for the tea my friend ordered. Never again.
