Nifty spot to gather and sip, drink and dine. Perfect for group conversations, meeting friends, or even casual date night. Welcoming staff, great selection of beverages as well as tasty fare. This visit we tried the rosemary lemonade as a nice refresher. The cabernet franc wine was also good. A messy but fun heap of nachos topped with brisket was ideal for sharing. Didn't have time for much more this visit, but we will be back soon.Things to know: Parking is available across the tiny street, but beware of one way signs on those streets and some drivers ignoring them. Arrive early (4 pm) for best parking. There is a good sized outdoor patio for super relaxed hanging out and enjoying those good weather times. Inside the Red House things can be a little tight (think small rooms strung together) but not uncomfortably so. Smiling employees who are down to earth make this spot a favorite. Enjoy!

What an experience. Everything was fantastic! The food, the staff, the atmosphere. I highly recommend stopping in for a meal. We had the buffalo chicken sandwich and a bar burger, followed by cheesecake and I can't even tell you what my favorite part was. It was all delicious! We will definitely be visiting every time we are in Renton.

A cozy, friendly place to find delicious food and experienced bar staff. PERFECT for a date night or special treat. Under 21 seating appeared to be available. Prices are a touch high, but makes sense when you note your money is going toward local brewers and local employees (which I am not one of). Observed handwashing, smiles, and an apparent desire to provide good service. This place will be great on that "perfect summer evening".Give it a shot and if you had a good time, let people know. I think this is a nice addition to Renton.

Stopped in for dinner .. great location, cool little red house. Great food, great service, great drinks .. go see Kessler and Shack and team ., they will take care of you for sure. Falafel fries were great .. very different. i had the mahi special while my wife had a flat bread. Both were great. For desert .., cereal milk creme brule .. needs a better name but very very good. We will be back anytime we are in the area.

Privately owned, world-class cuisine. Ownership changed hands in February and the owner / bartender and his staff provide prompt, honest, and friendly service. The patio was completely packed and the interior had few seats remaining when we dined. You can not make a bad choice here. Started with their falafel fries and a Jackalope Country cocktail, and finished the night with their Penn Cove Mussels and Crème Brûlée, without a fault to be found (I meant to take pictures of the meal but had cleaned out the lot faster than intended).Pictured are the Crème Brûlée and my partner's Rosemary Lemon Olive Oil cake which was also incredible. I cannot state my satisfaction enough with the entire evening!

We loved this place when we moved to Renton 10 years ago and kind of fell out of love for various reasons. But we are BEYOND excited with what the new owners have done. They’ve refreshed the entire space. The menu is complex, but completely approachable (pricing is more than reasonable). Lastly, the concept they have created for upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs is very relaxed and you order with a QR code that goes to the kitchen and they bring you food and/or drinks as you order. Downstairs is totally full service. We’ve opted to sit downstairs both times we’ve been back and the wait staff is phenomenal. They put up with my quirkiness (I blurted out I wanted to take something home to share with my pups and without batting an eye, they brought me a container and said “I bring things home to my dogs too.”) and are happy (I truly enjoy when someone is happy to be at work), I’m excited to see what the chef and owners bring as we open back up and what the summer brings. Ooh, and before I forget, as a craft beer lover, I am so happy to see a place that has really great craft beer available from local craft breweries. Please keep up all the good/hard work. It’s paying off!

Excellent food and service

A beautiful meal (perfect steak) with personable and lovely service. Sparkling rose waiting on the table for us and craft cocktails that are amazing (try the Bee’s Knees). The steak was done to perfection and the crème brûlée was perfectly accompanied by a merengue. This is a beautiful new chapter in Red House’s history. Thank you for bringing new life to this historic restaurant while honoring its past. Can’t wait to spend a lot more time here!

Soooo good, some of the best food I've had in a long time. Atmosphere is really cool. They opened again 2/8!

Incredible food, delicious craft cocktails, and a damn fine staff. You get all my stars!
