This place has been one of my favorite places to eat at. The downfall is the rude woman at the cashier she makes me not want to come eat here. She rude even if you tip. Someone needs to talk to her bc her attitude definitely turns people away!!
Service was good and speedy, food was absolutely terrible. Their portions are generous but their cookbook leaves much to be desired for. Avoid the stir-fry if at all possible, and their teriyaki is far to over-saturated in sugary sauce to be remotely palatable. If you enjoy paying premium prices for what amounts to a box of cabbage and a few pieces of broccoli, come here, otherwise I’d give this place a dodge.
With my colleague's strong recommendation, I finally made a trip to Renton to try this place. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I couldn't believe the price on the menu. Most of the foods are priced at around $12. Can you believe it in 2022 with crazy hyperinflation?I asked a server for a recommendation for the first-timer, and the very friendly server recommends ordering Chicken Bento & Chicken Katsu with Fried Rice so I took her words just to be safe. My order was prepared and ready promptly.I took the food to my friend's place, and the food was still warm and in a good condition. We both really enjoyed the food, and agreed that the portion of the food we ordered was decent with a good combination of meat, salad, and rice. The food overall was very good, especially the chicken katsu being crispy outside and juicy inside. They also offer a lunch special every day at $ 9.95. I wish my work is close to Miako Teriyaki. Maybe I can swing by on the weekend.
Awesome place !!!I got Chicken katsu Curry and Miso Soup with fresh Seaweed.Pretty good!!! And My friend ordered spicy Chicken n Katsu combo and he got $6 discount and free drink. How come ?? Lady worker said They offer discount for firefighter and police. She saw his uniform. She is So sweet and cool !My friend enjoyed all of big portion . He said it was fresh crispy and tastes great. If you haven't tried this place, I definitely recommend.Check it out !
This is not far from me so good to find this place yesterday.Specially It is good location next to Safeway for groceries shopping. We tried the Beef fried rice, Chicken Yakisoba noodles. And chicken Katsu and Gyoza for side menu. It was all delicious and way too much for two people. yummy! Delicious, huge portions, and very reasonable priced. I really like the house special katsu sauce and salad dressing.Parking lot is spacious and Lady staff was nice and friendly…Definitely We will be back ..
We got one spicy and one cheese ramen. It was broth, an egg, and what looked and tasted like a block of top ramen noodles. There was nothing else in it. We asked for a refund and were told they don't do refunds because they didn't have a pin for the card. We said it was a credit card and she still said she didn't have a pin for it. They asked us to clarify what we expected and I explained we thought there would be some kind of at least vegetable included and they said that would be more expensive. There are no other ramen options on the menu. We left the food and without a refund, definitely would not recommend.
Miako is a small teriyaki joint with a lot of options. Their portion size is pretty good for the prices, and it's tasty! I recommend getting one of their bento boxes (I prefer the gyoza over the egg rolls) so you can get salad, gyoza, shrimp tempura, rice, and your protein. It's a great deal- can feed you for 1-2 meals depending on how hungry you are. You can eat inside but there doesn't seem to be too much space, so takeout is probably the way to go.
Great food. I didn't order early so it took a minute, but it was worth it. Next time I'll plan ahead and order early. I saw others walk in a pick up pre-orders very fast. Loved the food!
Juicy meat, good to go packaged actually- I’m in maple valley and everything you order is secured packed and warm till it’s here . I really like the meat- its always tender and juicy portion sizes are actually enough for me to eat twice …. I don’t know how big the portion were before covid since some people commented the size now it’s smaller / keep in mind that there is 40 % inflation and a pandemic.- well prices go up at some places probably- but what’s better? Keep going there and pay a little more and support them, or rating them badly just because prices went up a little? Whatcha gonna do as business? Portion size is still more than enough and the service is awesome!
Great restarting, kind owners, great food, decent prices! Will be back and highly recommended! Their teriyaki sauce is to die for, not to mention the salad dressing, YUM!
