Ordered 2 kids meals. Received 2 paper cups, with the meals, and two lids that wouldn't fit the cups. They have a soda dispenser, where you fill your own cup, with no shelf or surface area to hold 1 cup, while you fill another. One kids meal was chicken strips, the fries and strips were all crammed in a 3 sided bag, which was very hard for a youngster to manipulate. Before lunch was over, 1 of the paper cups had nearly disintegrated. Went back to the store, requested a plastic cup (which has a lid that fits) and was denied, because those cups cost more.If you are going to offer a kids meal, give some thought to making it kid friendly: a paper plate or tray that will hold that will hold the food and a cup that will not self destruct in 30 minutes, with a lid that actually fits. Kidd Valley is not kid friendly!
Great food for excellent prices. Comfort food done exactly right. The garlic fries are a treat!
If you ever wondered what Kidd Valley onion rings would look like in a double bacon cheeseburger, yes it looks magical!
Fast! And tasty! Their mushrooms are to die for. The burgers are cooked nicely and are very juicy.
Nice Kidd Valley location in gene coulon Park in Renton, peaceful quiet atmosphere for the most part. I usually get the burger dip and fries and it tasted good as usual. I went on Saturday afternoon and it was not that busy and the food arrived fairly quickly. Good visit. I would recommend it.
Something often goes wrong with my order. The staff are nice about it and always fix it, but I wish it wasn't so common. I'm caring less and less about going here. Great milkshakes tho. And when food is made right, it takes good. Not worth the stress and wait of mess ups tho.
10/21/21 Current hours 11-8. Signs apologize and warn of shortages, but they had everything I ordered. Staff was good: Working hard.
Not very clean , used same dirty rag to wipe drips from milkshake cup that they used to wipe hands and counters.
I have been a long time fan of Kidd Valley, and there was nothing wrong with my food during my last visit. But the attitude and lack of customer service was not what I expect not only from Kidd Valley, but food service in general. When I walked in, Sammie, at register, did not greet me nor did she seem to enjoy being at work. She seemed more motivated to continue with her closing tasks than to provide any customer service, which caused me to feel unwelcome and like I was an inconvenience. She also was not friendly at all while taking my order. I do understand I came in 30 minutes before closing, and, having worked food service before, its was never my favorite, but I would still make my customers feel welcome. While waiting for my food, I watched Sammie repeatedly walk through her coworker’s dirt pile why trying to sweep as well as ignore and not greet other customers. It may not seem like a big deal, but the complete lack of respect was hard to watch. I could not get out of there fast enough. Very disappointed ☹️
Food thrown in th o bag. Fries from six orders scattered in bag.
