I want to give this place a better rating because the food really is delicious, but the service time and again has always been below average. I'm sure customers aren't always the nicest to these girls, but I've never once been acknowledged by anyone working the counter, even when there's four of them there. By the time I do get to checkout, I feel I'm being rushed to pay and the gal today didn't bother to ask if there's anything else I wanted before rushing away, so I ended up not picking up any food outside of my bowl. It's frustrating because the reason I come in is due to the fact that consistently DoorDashing meals from here always leaves me with a half empty bowl, so I'm happy to take the time to come in and get my full value. Disappointing.

I suppose this review is really about management making absurd policies that negatively impact their customer’s experience.Poke bowl offerings allow you to customize the ingredients. They offered one that was shrimp tempura with toasted crab and I really wanted that particular combo of proteins, prepared that way. Unfortunately you could couldn’t add things to that bowl without a one dollar charge for each side. The server tried to help by offering the proteins without toasting the crab under a different combo. Apparently, they weren’t allowed to toast the crab, except for this special combo. ?‍♀️ So I got a scoop of sliced cucumber, fine. I asked for roasted corn and got a teaspoon; I asked: “Really? That tiny bit for a dollar and each little bit of other ingredients will be another dollar?” Yes. They wouldn’t allow me to get that combination of proteins any other way. I wanted little bits of four more toppings and just couldn’t do it; adding $6 to the price of the bowl for that was outrageous. Also, the only free condiment they offered was soy sauce. Really?I know describing it here doesn’t sound stressful and absurd, but it truly was. This absurd rule basically ruined the meal because I kept noticing the different flavors I was missing while my friend was enjoying exactly what she wanted.Such a cheapened experience that could’ve been perfectly lovely. I won’t go back and I love poke.

Nice ambiance. 40+ dollars for two for lunch his a bit steep, especially when you get more rice than fish. Friendly staff. Fun selection of sauces.

Visited for the first time today and will not be going back. Quantity is small and the flavor is not as good as other similar restaurants. I asked for an extra topping as a part of “build your own bowl” and was told that it was an extra dollar. This is different from other poke restaurants that are more generous in offering extra portions of a topping. The fish also did not have much flavor. For the price and quality I won’t be returning again.

For being almost $20 after taxes (and a tip $3.5) I’m slightly dissatisfied. The bowls are super shallow which is lame because it could definitely use more rice. Most of the ingredients were decently fresh. And the customer service was OK.

The place was clean. The staff was ready to help when you are ready to order. Very polite & efficient. The quality of the food was fresh & filling.

Disappointing first experience, sadly. But not all bad.Food: Pretty standard quality fish. Nothing remarkable. But decent flavor and was quite tasty all in all.Service/Experience: Upon walking in and ordering, it was good. The ladies working the bar were kind and eager to help. The problems started though when I ordered one regular bowl and one large bowl. The large bowl, unbeknownst to me at the time, only included two (2) scoops of meat instead of the advertised three (3). Toppings & mix-ins felt slim in choice, with a lot of "premium" (cost an additional $1) toppings that seemed to really bloat the price. Sadly, my large bowl felt pretty empty after all of the options. Servers didn't seem terribly interested in suggesting anything or helping me out in making choices. As far as toppings went, the tempura crunchies were good for texture (though didn't add any flavor) and the kimchi was a very nice and unique addition!Overall:It's hard to give this initial experience more than 3 stars, if that. All in all, I just felt unfulfilled. My bowl just felt like...eh...80% rice, 15% fish, and the rest in toppings. I feel like perhaps I just had a single bad experience, so I'll give them another shot. But with so many other great area poke options, such as Big Island and Sam Choy's, I feel Just Poke reallys needs to do a bit more to impress.

Great food, great service. The crew makes it nice and easy to get exactly what I want. The food is fresh, and the flavors are outstanding.

They've gotten much better about reading *all* the instructions on the takeout orders, and now my food is perfectly delicious every time I go. ? Love this place!

Inedible food! I ordered online, picked up in stores and went home find put rice was raw and soggy. I’m Asian so I know how rice should taste if it was cooked rice. Crab salad is basically just shredded fake crab with no sauce. I have to seperate the food in there try to find something edible just because already paid $13 for the bowl. Unpleasant feeling of digging and eating food from garbage. Be careful if you order take out from them
