First I'll start with this, there's no pork bacon in the seafood chowder. That's a plus! It's extra thick and seasoned but not salty. The fish were a big hit at our table. They give big portions too!
Great food, but their online services don't seem to be working at this location. Neither is their phone number. I ordered through Doordash but the order was immediately canceled. I tried to order through Google maps, the link accepted my order, but when my brother went to pick it up, they said they never received it. Now I have to dispute the charge made to my card for something I won't be receiving.Again, great food, but an update is needed for a few things.
The food was UHMAZIMG‼️ Lewis the owner personally came out and talked to me and we took. Picture together and all! He was SO NICE! The entire staff is AWESOME! Ms Sharon was also very very nice! They even gave me a birthday treat! Highly recommended going if you are visiting or live in the area! I'm visiting from the south and can't wait to go back for more!!!
Quality! That’s all I can say. I’m not local but I’m a foodie who likes trying the local staples.To be considered fast food, everything was great. I got the 2-piece lunch special. The spicy chicken actually had a nice little kick but wasn’t overpowering with nice,crispy skin. The beans were tasty too; reminded me of beans from a family BBQ.I didn’t get to eat my food until about 45 minutes later but my sides were still warm and the chicken didn’t turn cold or get soggy. The roll wasn’t a favorite of mine; too dense. But that might have been because I didn’t eat it while still warm. The flavor was good though and I could immediately tell that it was a sweet bread.Now I wish that there was an Ezell’s in the Carolinas. Will definitely be back anytime I’m in the area.
Don’t get me wrong I love me some ezells! Always have a good experience. But the last two times I tried the Renton location. The Mac and cheese was rubbery and I swear my spicy chicken was only dark because it was over fried.service was great. The place was clean. My potatoe salad was amazing as usual. But the two that I actually come for were lacking. Gonna give it one more shot before trying another location!
There chicken here was really good juicy and the rolls with the mac n cheese made our combo taste better
The reason I'm so thrilled when I got there I noticed some chicken coming up so I asked what was that it was spicy white meat . Usually get a wing & roll this day I got 2 wings & 2 rolls but they put an extra one in for me and it was the best tasted like 1984, on 23td across from Garfield High School . That was big time back then ,!!! LBII ??
Chicken Better than KFC but its ok not something you crave. Safeway"s chicken is better. The Mac and cheese is not my fav. The cheese isnt melted like they topped with a hard cheddar gives it a sharp bland taste. At $12 a plate you'd expect better flavors overall. Hope you have better experience. From the hype by the locals I was discouraged to taste the result.
I like their chicken stripes as it is fresh made and taste great! But the regular chicken that I have bought twice was dry and old! So I suggest only ordering the stripes also if you can use delivery app to place your order! I went to this store 4 times in person and had horrible customer service the employee have bad ?? attitude even after tipping them 20% and being polite to them! Also the pound chicken stripes aren't real pound see picture!
The service is definitely 5 star. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I got the 2lb chicken tenders. 1lb regular, 1lb spicy. My taste buds were let down. I couldn't wait for the flavor train. Especially for almost $50. But, it wasn't there. Popeyes, KFC, Church's chicken, then last Ezell's. Sad face emoji.
