For years the best KBBQ for me have been the ones in SoCal. So whenever I'm there on my annual trek, I usually go ham! But for the rest of the year I have an itch for the mouthwatering KBBQ that can't be scratched! There are some good ones in WA, sure, but not on this level. First, the selection of meats. Uh, hello! Pork jowl!! This cut is super rare outside of SoCal. It's my favorite cut for KBBQ that's for sure. The way the pork is perfectly marbled I'd say it's the A5 wagyu pork equivalent! It doesn't taste fatty, just rich in flavor. I like to render the fat a little bit by cooking it until it's crunchy, then dip it in the sesame oil/sea salt mixture. YUM! Of course they have a huge selection of other meats (beef, chicken, and seafood) so any meat/seafood lovers should be satisfied. Banchan was plentiful and flavorful. The restaurant itself is spacious so it' s great spot for dinner parties. Oh yeah, the location is super easy to find. I mean, it's in their name! I've had several friends who've asked me about the location, to which I've comically repeated the name. Where is Exit 5 KBBQ? Exit 5. I know it's called that, but where is it? Exit 5! Anyway... it's become a silly inside joke now.

This is the best kbbq place I've found in the Seattle area so far! In terms of quality, it's very comparable to some of the ayce options I've had on the east coast. This place is pay-per-dish though, so be prepared to pay a pretty penny. The side dishes were awesome and they kept refilling them as long as we asked. My favorite by far was the fish cakes and the bean sprouts salad. I also ordered the corn cheese which was yummy but a bit on the dry side so I'll pass in the future. We split the mixed meats combo between two people and it was perfectly filling and very delicious. Service was also good, very curt yet prompt. Be prepared for a bit of a wait as this place is popular for good reason. For parking, there's a parking garage nearby with plenty of spots

I’ve been eating at this BBQ since the grand opening, and I would say, it is the most tastiest and well serviced BBQ in WA. A lot of the items are pricier than the ones in other KBBQs like federal way, but the quality is amazing. The food melts right in your mouth, the side dishes and meat are all fresh, and the food is authentic and hot. The service here is amazing, all the servers are kind and do not make you feel guilty for asking for something. The manager is very kind, and is always checking around on everyone. Love this place.

The place was nice and big. Food was good however the amount you get for $95(beef combo) is not worth it. It’s on a small tray with some thinly sliced beef, and a few pieces of meat. It’s more in the 50-60 range. I feel quality is the same as palace and at palace it’s all you can eat and at a cheaper price. Pretty pricey here but food and service was good.

We noticed the new menu with higher prices, less amount of meat, no soup included now. Don't even sell small soup extra to accomodate for that, and I believe the charging after one refill of sides is also new. It was our go to place down in that area, but I am afraid it is no longer our first option since it has gotten too pricey. I understand inflation, but also as a frequent customer, it is way too much for me to come back every time. That being said, service is still very good.

We tried and it’s good but pricey specially the meat combos. It’s a treat for us but won’t do it often??

Very authentic Korean place with good food, service and vibe. Been there with a friend and felt totally welcomed and well served.

Great service and wide selection of side dishes, bbq meats, poultry, seafood, and entrees! Many delicious appetizers. Large tables and good for groups. Grills are clean and frequently attended to by the staff. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere was rustic modern. Located across from the movie theater at the Renton Landing. Each table had a cooking grill in the center. The staff was friendly and helped to explain the menu to us. My husband chose the bulgogi stew by Erick's recommendation--the flavor was amazing. We did not choose the food to be grilled. Although they served us 6 bowls of accompaniments--kimchi, broccoli, bean sprouts and potato salad. I ordered the beef lunch box. It was a bento box with salad, lunch, rice, pot stickers and beef bulgogi. It was so tasty. We weren't willing to try the kimchi. A great place for the adventurers.

Awesome food. Can’t go wrong with KBBQ
