This is a nice and rather traditional steakhouse and I would definitely recommend this place if you are craving for steak and don’t want to travel too far from Redmond. There is onsite parking but you have to remember tell your hostess or waiter your license plate number so they can validate it for you, otherwise I think the parking is $10/hour.The restaurant has a traditional steakhouse decor. The floor is a little slippery not sure if it was due to grease or what but I found myself take care when walking to/from the restroom. The food is good, not great, hence the 3 star but definitely not bad in anyway. Mind you that taste on food is very subjective so make your own decision. The staff was very friendly and attentive and we definitely had a great time there.
Our family was on vacation in the Redmond area and we wanted a good steak for our last evening (how much salad and chicken can you eat??). My college graduate son said the Ribeye was one of the best steaks he ever had. My other college son and I had the Filet (he went Pittsburgh rare and I went Chicago Medium). It was so tender and delicious! I ordered the 12 oz and could not finish it, but it sure made a nice snack the next morning! :) My wife had the steak salad. No complaints on the food. The restaurant is fairly small and you need to register your license plate for using their parking lot (must be a parking issue). It looks like they have a nice bar for the solo traveler or a couple. I would recommend it!
My new favorite brunch spot. Stopped by a few weeks ago, and now I can't stop. I feel the brunch prices are very reasonable, especially for a steakhouse, and their steak and eggs are beyond phenomenal. Their steak blows any chain steakhouse outer of the water. Tried the biscuits and gravy last time, and wow. The gravy was incredible. Plus, the service is awesome. They're very attentive and also very polite and kind. Really happy I gave this place a try, and I think you should too.
Our food was fantastic and Mia was amazing and attentive. Great experience!
Was craving some steak and this place did not disappoint! Prime is seated in a great location in downtown Redmond, and the food was great. We made a quick same day reservation here. Our server listened to our questions and gave us great recommendations. We ordered the short ribs and the steak where it's cooked 3 ways (I forgot the name but pics included). The short ribs were melt-in-your-mouth tender and super tasty, sitting on a bed of mashed potatoes and sauce. And the steak cooked 3 ways was so fun to eat! I really enjoyed all the different flavors and each one was sooo juicy! To top it off, I think the steak here is very reasonably priced too! I was expecting our meal to hit around $100 but it was only about $70. Definitely worth the trip :) I'll be back again
We visited Prime Steakhouse on Friday for an early Valentine's day dinner. We ordered steak dinners, salads and cocktails. The food was good, steaks nicely prepared and service was OK. It was busy and the servers were having to scramble. It seemed that there was no extra help with bringing out food, drinks or checking on guests. Service was very focused and consumed by larger groups. Had to ask multiple times for bread, drinks, napkin. We would definitely go back, but hopefully when appropriately staffed.
We had an early dinner under pandemic restrictions. The food was really good and there was plenty of it - enough that we both ended up with leftovers. Since it was a special occasion for us, we splurged on sides, including the mushrooms. Can't complain about the service or the food, but I found the price a bit high to make this a regular stop. It was excellent as a fun, one-time do.
Great food - our steaks were cooked to perfection and the flavors were delicious. Loved the ambiance. Service was great too. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu!
Came here for a special occasion and we thought it was excellent. Two of our party ordered the steaks (new york) and said they were excellent. We had a wait staff person who provided excellent service. Really, all in all a great dinner. It was for a birthday and they comped a dessert which practically no one does anymore and they included some bread with our dinner which no ones does without charging anymore. All in all the price is expensive but they don't nickel and dime you too much with charges for bread, etc. and they provide a solid menu with good drink choices, steak choices, etc. You feel when you leave like it was fine dining and expensive but you are pleased with your meal. I can't say that about too many fine dining places these days. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because of the fish dish. It's served on a bed of quinoa and with a bernaise sauce. The fish was dry, the quinoa really bland and very very little bernaise sauce. They need to work on this dish so we thought the fish dish was average. Even though they are known for steak, they should offer a few other choices for the non-steak eaters which are excellent also. They could also benefit from some interesting dessert menu options.
2 servings of New York gram steak and 1 serving of ribeye steak. This is a restaurant with warm and considerate service. The steaks are thick and big pieces that melt in your mouth. If you have this opportunity, you will go to Seattle again. I will definitely go to enjoy a delicious meal again.
