We have been having brunch here since 2018 and the place does not disappoint. Their bakery is, imo, one of the best of king county, and, thank god, it’s not the typical American bakery (muffins and scones): their croissants, fruity natural danishes and baguettes bread are delicious. I’ve never stopped ordering the egg Benedict and the shrimp and grits. The grits, specifically, is outstanding (not sure the seasoning, but it’s one of the best I’ve tasted). Are they expensive? Yes, very much. But I think they’re worth every dollar.
I've been eating at Pomegranate for 13 years and their grilled cheese and tomato soup never gets old for me. Their entire menu is delicious (I have occasionally ordered other things, I promise) and I always recommend it as a place to go when folks are visiting Redmond. If you like the food, consider using Lisa Dupar's catering company because it's the same group. I've been to two different weddings catered by them and it's the best wedding food I've ever had.
I had a wonderful experience here! It was actually quite empty when we first came in so we were seated right away. Our server was wonderful, very prompt and attentive. The food was delicious and I loved my drink as well. Just an overall great experience!
Decent service and presentation. Price tags are steep but I believe it matches what they offer in the area. We ordered a few items and noticed improperly washed greens on a firebread, roots and soil lump. I would have expected a very high quality when they charge such high. They even charged 20% for Covid (aren’t we pass Covid restrictions) and didn’t properly mentioned it since they used a payment portal instead of a receipt.
My husband and I came here on Saturday (5/7) and the food was very good. I had the green chile Nachos with a lavender lemonade and he had the bistro burger. We also shared an order of hot puffs with a side of butter. We enjoyed our visit, our waiter was great, and we will be back when we're in Redmond again!
My partner and I were going to check this place out for the first time. Seemed like a nice place to eat. I get there and put my name on the list and the hostess (white chick with long dirty blonde hair) says it'll be 5-10 minutes. I put my name on the list, I see I am the next one. I go outside real quick to let my boyfriend know then come back inside. I am standing there in plain view patiently waiting noticing people being set because they have reservations. Then two ladies (white) come in and I overhear them tell the hostess they don't have a reservation and the hostess sits them down. I am still standing there baffled. I can say this was the first time I experienced racism unless you can give me a better explanation as to why the hostess made that decision. All I can say is I have never felt so low in my life. Worst feeling ever. I cannot review your restaurant but your hostess certainly needs some training.
It’s a family style dining spot. Lots of options. Simple really good food. They take reservations. Check @AWorldOnMyPlate Instagram for Seattle based food content!
I’ve been here twice. When I went for the weekend brunch, there were plenty of options and my food was good. However, my second time there was during the week for breakfast. There was about 4 options for breakfast. You could have oatmeal, a flat bread pizza, and breakfast sandwich. I can’t remember the 4th option but it was all over priced and not very tasty. I ordered the sandwich which didn’t come with a side. There was a 20% service fee added as well which was not deserved based on the food and my party was under 6 people. The staff is always nice and the restaurant is clean.
Hostess was really great! Brussel sprouts amazing, Fried chicken- not good crust was hard like a shell and the coleslaw I could’ve gotten at Safeway.
They had a great menu and the Beef Bourguignon was delectable. Our server, Debbie, was amazing. We took home huge cinnamon roll for breakfast the next morning as well.
