I really wanted to like this place. All of the the online reviews and community recommendations were very positive. Unfortunately for me, the whole experience, from the the lack of ambiance to the texture/ the taste of the food (my yakisoba was very overcooked and squishy), was just kind of meh. Maybe it was just an off night for them. Not sure. On the plus side, service was VERY quick. Even though the restaurant was busy, we had our meal within only a few minutes of ordering, which is commendable.

Some of the best sushi, and the best sushi dining experience I've had in Redmond. Pricier than Musashi's, which is what I use to judge sushi greatness, but with more variety and a cozier dining area.Staff are friendly and solicitous without hovering, the menu is diverse, and everything that I tried was of the absolute best quality. I really look forward to trying the omakase, which starts around $50 (I'm assuming it may vary upward based on what the chef selects, though).Very highly recommended, and I'm kicking myself for not having made time for it years ago.

Were here with friends for dinner. Sushi quality is good but nothing fancy. Surely worth a second visit if close by. Only negative point is that the server forgot to bring my beer after ordering.

Love the sushi here (Redmond Location) but man, the online ordering takes them HOURS to complete. Generally, if I place an order it's a minimum of an hour, but usually closer to 2 or even 3. It's enough to make me go to competitors because who wants to wait 2 hours to get a pick-up order? Definitely an odd business model choice.I've never seen a business take nearly as long as Oto does, and it's really my only complaint for an otherwise great place for sushi.

This is one of the best places to get sushi in downtown Redmond. Service was very fast, they were also able to inform me about ingredients in the food. There was a wait to get in to sit at a table but we were able to get seated immediately at the sushi bar.I want to go back already! The prices aren’t insane and they have a good amount of variety of food besides sushi.

Amazing sushi place for sushi lovers !! I tried Avalon Sushi which has shrimp n avocado n masago. Tasted really well ! The only drawback here is either you have to wait in long lines or come at an odd time.. this was my fourth time visiting but first time eating experience..

Service was good, staff was friendly and attentive. The sushi itself was just ok. They have TONS of rolls which is overwhelming in and of itself. But I’d rather have a list of ten superb rolls then 30 mediocre rolls. Probably won’t be back; there are far better sushi places out there.

Happy hour menu is fantastic! I personally would not get the omakase again. It's not the experience per the price. I expected them to serve one sushi at a time but they all came out at once. Happy hour menu was fantastic and delicious. I had spider rolls and hot sake from happy hour.

This location is much better than the Juanita one. Fish is fresher and staff is friendlier. They really have their act together for takeout - easy online ordering, text you when it’s ready for pickup etc. they have gluten free soy sauce for takeout as well. My husband loves their fun vegetarian rolls and they have one of the best spicy tuna avocado rolls around! ?

Great service, ossum food. We really liked the dragon, assorted fish nigiri and fire starter rolls. Ebi is great. My kids don’t like raw sushi, so I ordered the safest option, ebi with no wasabi
