CHILDREN NOT ALLOWED! I feel like this should be made clear on their website!! This is NOT a restaurant but a bar!!! It is NOT a clear on website unless you look closely. It says it is a restaurant but it is NOT KID friendly . So disappointed to make the trip and to be turned away
Our family was on vacation in the Redmond area and this restaurant is within walking distance of the hotel. It was a Sunday night and the place was pretty busy. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table of 4, but there were open seats at the bar. If it wasn't raining, there may be outside seats too. I was immediately attracted to the vintage brick, wood and iron work. It truly was spectacular. A table for 6 opened in the bar and I don't know if they were holding it, but it remained empty for at least 10 minutes BEFORE they sat us and we were standing right there. Odd, but not a huge deal. The restaurant was busy. I had the shrimp Fajitas and they were really good. I don't have the rundown of all the meals, but I didn't hear any complaints. I should have ordered a Corona, but went rogue and ordered a Blackberry margarita. What I didn't know is they put a spicy hot pepper rim (as opposed to sugar or salt). Blech! I had to wipe that off! But I was able to enjoy my cocktail after that. I would definitely recommend this place, next time I will simply have the Corona!
Incredible tequila variety not really familiar on the prices but it was cool and had a great time there. The place is very clean and confortable to stay in and have a chat with friends or watch games. The barista was very friendly and had quite a lot of knowledge about their stock.I would definitely come back.
Pretty good Mexican, we come here a fair amount. The enchiladas are a favorite, and I usually get the beyond burrito (you can ask for it vegan). I’d like to see a few more vegan options but I’m glad to see the beyond picadillo as a protein option! Can get a bit busy and loud but it’s a good vibe.
First days after I moved to Seattle. Sunny, April day. After a long walk, Picked up my niece from painting class and all of a sudden I craved for Guacamole and beer. My brother in law dropped me at Matador and told me this place is great. He was right. Quality is amazing. Guac was the best. Consider I am moving from Houston and I am picky with Mexican food. Server, Tyler was very fun. First impressions to a new city is important and I am so glad this experience was so good that I will always remember. Thanks
Nice place. I went on a Friday night and thankfully got a table right away. The place looked packed. They have happy hours from 10 so my timing could not have been better. I tried the street tacos and that was pretty good. Not the best but definitely good. We also took the overloaded nachos, which was a lot and my wife took the Cilantro lime shrimp which was tasty and had a good portion size. I took an old fashion and my wife took the cucumber jalapeno margarita which was nice as well. The service was a bit slow probably because it was very busy.
Very good food & service
From out of town- Tennessee! Visiting a friend. We stopped in around 10:30, not knowing it was 30 minutes before close, and grabbed a beer. Bartender was very accommodating and friendly, despite being last call. The atmosphere was incredible! Wish we had came in earlier so I could have enjoyed it longer. Loved this place!
