Food was good, atmosphere was friendly, and had a great time just chilling with a beer and chatting with others.
Bartender super friendly and welcoming, prices were great, lots of seating and gaming.
A little on the chilly side, but beer is good.
I love open mic and I had fun going back in time to my wild 20s visiting my old haunt J. MIKES. I will be back for another one of Jules BLT and chips. And to watch open mic. Last week a guy was using a loop pedal and a violin. So cool. Also saw they have Karaoke Saturdays.. hmm?? Sounds fun. And I love they have darts, pool, and Big Buck Hunter!! Rad.

I’m in town for training, and was avoiding traffic at rush-hour so I decided to find a local “dive bar“. The bartender greeted me enthusiastically, and provided amazing service. I’m a pool shooter, so worked on some drills. The table for recently re-felted, so that’s good, but if you have your own stick you definitely must bring it. Their selection of three sticks was below par if you’re any kind of shooter. The regulars there are friendly and welcoming, and I was able to pick up a game of pool pretty easily. Bonus points for having Space Dust on tap! This is my last day of training, and when the session is done I’ll be heading here to avoid traffic again. Will definitely come back when I’m in the area.
