The food here is just not good. I have given it several tries before giving up on this place altogether. The teriyaki could be a lot better. I tried the yakisoba here and it was both super oily and bland, some of the worst I ever had. I wanted to like it, as it's one of the few teriyaki places in my area, but I'm done wasting my money here.

Great food, warm welcoming service. My daughter loved the teriyaki.

I’m sad cause this place is usually pretty fire but there were egg shells in my soup and it was really gross :/ :(

Himitsu was a bit of a disappointment to me. The food was just okay, with the sauces being particularly unimpressive and the gyoza is often soggy or just cold, as if it had been fried an hour before my order. Even considering this, Himitsu costs well above what I can pay to get a similar meal elsewhere.

This place is okay. It's standard teriyaki. The inside is a huge mess(like most standard teriyaki places) with storage overflowing into the lobby, really affecting the atmosphere. It's cramped, dark, and uninspired. Good for quick dinner takeout but not so much for dinner out with friends.

I was in the restaurant on Sat and placed a take out order. I had three young children with me. I waited 50 minutes before my food was ready. I kept being told " just a bit more" , " under ten minutes" etc. I should have been told of the long wait and short staffing from the beginning. With three kids I would have gone elsewhere. Extremely disappointing, horrible service and I will think twice about going back here.

This was our first visit to Himitsu. I had the chicken yakisoba and she had broccoli chicken. We both enjoyed our meals very much! We'll definitely be going back.

Great spicy garlic dishes! Amazing bentos.

I found this teriyaki spot to be more bland compared to others on the Eastside. Needs more flavor/salt/sauce. Might be good if you like extremely healthy teriyaki.

I’m really sad to give this review. I’ve been ordering take out from Himitsu for about 6 months because I fell in love with it in comparison to others nearby.Unfortunately, the consistency isn’t there. Mostly, it’s the teriyaki sauce that isn’t consistent whether it’s thick or thin, or in the rare occurrence, not even there. More recently there seems to be more stress between inside and outside of the kitchen.I do love this place when it’s thriving and the staff at the counter are always so kind. My last few orders haven’t been the best experience and I’m considering switching again.
