This used to be my favorite coffee place in Redmond. Unfortunately, went down from 5 stars to 2. Sadly, I'll attribute it to the new male (teen?) barista they hired couple months back. I now try avoid when he's around. He doesn't even want to be here, openly saying so in front of customers. He overcharged me once, underheats the food almost everytime and doesn't even pretend to treat all customers with respect. If he's not enjoying the work, why work here and ruin it for the regulars like me?
One of my favorite coffee places. Coffee has a nice foam and flavor, and the employees are very nice!
Great coffee with great service
Visited the first day, the male was unhurried and short. The next day, the girls were very nice and helpful. Got the orange currant scone which had a light flavor and was gluten free.
Love this place. My niece introduced me to this place. Great friendly staff, very helpful and caring. A little town spot to meet and hang with friends. Great food also.
Nice and cozy location, delicious coffee selection, and very friendly staff!
Good coffee, the premade sandwiches are good too.
Absolutely delightful, tucked away location at the end of a small shopping center surrounded by trees. Friendly employees who greet you and want to know your coffee preferences. Lovely selection of regular and gluten free food items like cookies and scones and whatnot. Clean and well organized place with good seating options, including the indoor-outdoor countertop that just feels so fresh and fun. So why less than five stars? The coffee was good but not fantastic, the roast on the beans tasted undeveloped and immature, as if depth of flavor potential had just begun to come through and then bap! the beans were removed from the roaster too soon. Just my opinion. I've had coffee in Perth, Australia, but I will admit I have never had coffee in Sydney, Australia, so it could just be a style thing. I prefer more depth and a wider range of roasty nuance to my coffee. So, would I recommend Cypress Coffee? Genuinely, I would, I'd just remind folks to expect a more light and beachy sort of coffee that features a green chippiness to it. Not a bad thing, but an interesting thing. Try the mocha and sip, watching perfectly formed milk bubbles swivel against your lip. Gaze into the trees. A hummingbird might pop by. Relax. Nibble the pain au chocolat. People watch. Smile. It's good here.
The people here are so incredibly friendly! They are so nice, and this coffee shop is easily one of my favorites in Redmond. I don't even live very close, and it is 100% worth the drive. Their scratch latte is my favorite. Such a comfortable & lovely environment. Please support their business, they deserve every penny.
Always had nice coffee and baked goods
