Delicious! Reminds me of my childhood. Everything was yums. I really like that they care about the quality of the ingredients and you can tell in the taste of the broths and chicken. These soups are more health oriented in mind. The hand pulled noodles had the perfect texture. Tip: ask for chili oil on the side.No issues with service. The dining room was about half full when we ate. I could see how it would take longer with more seatings. Will have to try the hot pot next time!!
Not bad taste but chicken was not juicy or tender as I expected or advertised. Honestly I don't feel any difference in meat quality than I bought from the grocery store or general Cantonese restaurant. The pork rib we ordered was cold when it just came out. The other thing we were not happy with was they charged 18% gratitude fee although they didn't even provide any service other than delivering food to the table. How dare you?
Briefly explain this restaurant that is good taste and food quality. However, understaffed made it very busy.We ordered chicken noodle soups and a meal with coconut favorite. The noodle soup is amazing that the base has a strong chicken flavor, and the chicken is tender and tasty. On the other hand, since we arrived too late that day, the Bresse chicken was already sold out and finally we chose smoked chicken instead. I was pleasantly surprised by this smoky chicken that firm and tasty with bursts of aroma, with the sweet coconut chicken broth for a special flavor.Ps. : If you like heavy flavors, you can try their other garlic flavor broth.Their service was very attentive because seeing that we had been waiting for a long time, they gave us a fondue for free. Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Understaffed)Prices: ??
Not my favorite, but I enjoyed the food and the creative effort that was put into the recipes as well as the restaurant itself. The smoked bresse chicken has a very mild flavor. It does nit taste smoked at all, was a bit dry, and could have used a simple salt and pepper seasoning when it was cooked; it was just OK. Our other dishes were also OK, but really didn’t peak my “Wow” factor. They definitely used quality ingredients and combined flavors with quality vegetables. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, but I have to take off one star because one of the items I ordered was never brought to the table, and my table server attempted to charge me for it anyways upon checkout. That wasn’t a big deal overall, but it is a basic part of the service experience that shouldn’t happen, especially at a time of day when the restaurant wasn’t operating anywhere near full capacity. They staff were nice enough though, overall I enjoyed my meal.
Love the chicken products! Definitely will come back to try the soup pot set next time.
We ordered coconut chicken soup hot pot. The soup was amazing. It feeds two people just fine. Wished we tried something else. But we waited for almost a hour before having our hot pot served. I guess the soup takes time. After we finish the hotpot, the dessert just never came since three waiters can’t handle all the tables. So, almost another 30 minute until we went to pay the check ourselves. While we were waiting, we saw lots of other tables waiting for waiters to come or hadn’t had their meals served for a long time. I completely get that they’re short staffed and still hiring, but it wasn’t a super good experience for us on a Friday evening.
This is the only Chinese restaurant I would like to come back to eat again immediately after check out. Most of the other restaurants I have experienced so far are: first couple of bites are great, then gradually food flavor in my mouth Starts to diminish its flavor and become boring, near the end of the meal, usually already made up my mind deciding not to come back again. But this restaurant's food is so good and well cooked, the authentic flavor coming from real food( not spices or soy sauce) constantly stimulates my taste buds from the beginning to the end. Highly recommend braised chicken, chicken hot pot, best noodles, Premium Pork meat, unique dessert… my mouth starts to water as I'm writing this…
The taste was different from what we usually have. The meat was cooked very tenderly. Braised meatball was the best and a must try. The chicken noodle soup had a very subtle flavor to it.
Very flavourful soup. 浓汤面 is amazing, you can tell the soup stock is authentic, and the chicken topping has both white meat and dark meat, which I like. The appetizer I had is the braised pork, which is identical to what I used to have as a child. Love those!
Lamb Tagine Pot and spicy wonton were good. But braised meatball and seaweed weren’t right. Meatball isn’t the way I thought should be made. The braised meatballs supposed to be deep fried first and cooked in the soy sauce, however the meatball they served more like steamed. I know it’s subjective, but least that meatball isn’t my recommendation. Also seaweed salad lack of taste and it came last towards the end of meal, which was supposed to be an appetizer.
