This was my first visit to any of The Rock locations. The food was great, but the service was bad before I even arrived to meet my friend for dinner. When she arrived she asked if we could sit in the bar, the person at the host stand told her it was open seating. She chose one of the high tops and then either a server or a host came over and told her, "Open seating in the bar is for only at the bar. Where there are only two of you, you can sit up there. I'm not going to have you take up one of my tables on a Saturday night." The manager was asked for and apologized, but literally did nothing to correct the situation and then they proceeded to seat her at a booth right in front of the only door when it was cold and raining outside. I arrived shortly after and found her sitting there still waiting for anyone to come to the table and get drink orders. Even after I showed up and sat with her, it still took 20 minutes before anyone even came by to tell us they would be with us. We should have taken that as our hint to just leave, but I had never been and wanted to try their food. After the food came out it was a race to eat it before it got cold as we were right next to the door and with people coming and going it was always open. Our server had to go put on one of those fluffy winter zip-ups to keep serving her tables. It was also really awkward trying to eat our meal and having people waiting to be sat or waiting for their pizza piled up less than a foot away from our table. Someone's kid was actually leaning up against our table while they were waiting. Since the food was good, we will probably try the Auburn location instead and hope the service is better and they won't consider us to be, "taking up their tables."
There was a little wait for our table about 15 minz. Server was awesome I think Alissa and then we had a dude Triston. I had Jameson w/ Coke back, she had a lemon drop, he had a bucket drink, we had the syringe shots and food. Onion rings were good, the brisket on the nachos were good, don't care for the wings, pizza good. Had a really good time they always checked on us.
Good pizza, but not the best, minor mess up with the custom toppings, but not enough to want to send anything back and was still tasty. Like the theme. Okay priced for what it is. Staff was all nice. I like all the rock music themed names of items haha. Quick to get seated. Bucket drinks are more novelty than decently priced for what they are and how much ice was in the bucket, but they let me take the bucket which was cool. Been befor and will go back again.
5 dollars for half a scoop of ice cream plus the waiter asked if we wanted dessert and we said yes and had to ask for a menu to see what they offered and then before she came back to take our order she gave us the bill. The picture is only after I brushed the whip cream off the top to show how little ice cream they gave.Very upset.
The staff were not responsive and seemed distant from guest needs. I came in for an in-restaurant take out order and the host taking my order seemed to be new or very confused while taking my order. I was very clear and restated my order multiple times. I went back to my car waiting 30 min with my family and when the order was ready my wife picked it up. Multiple items were wrong or missing so I went back in and requested the missing items. They did prioritize remaking those items. After getting them and coming home we found other items in our order were wrong. I understand there is a great deal of stress on restaurant staff these days and I want to be respectful but I was very disappointed with our experience and will not patronize this establishment anytime soon even though it has one of our favorite pizzas.
Waited an hour for our food, multiple other people were seated, waited on, and received their meals before us. When we got them they were extremely greasy and both of us ended up sick. Overall disappointed in this location.
Great service in the bar last night!
Normally The Rock is great! Tonight, we ordered the usual, Crazy Train and Pride and Joy. The Crazy Train had soooo much oregano and jalapeños, so overwhelming. It was pretty bad…. And then our Pride and Joy had an over abundance of onions, mainly raw in taste and texture. For nearly $50 for two pizzas, we were all very disappointed. Not a good night you guys.
First time here and I loved it! Food was delicious! I started with both the Brown Sugar Mozz Bread and The Rock Wings. Then I ordered the My Generation with added Hot Italian Sausage and the White Christmas with added Mushrooms. I also ordered the Meatball Mac & Cheese. All were delicious! The service was just as good. Outstanding in fact...DONA was very polite, respectful, patient, and professional. She knew the menu well and was very helpful whenever I asked for her thoughts. Thank you so much Dona! I'll be back with my wife. She'll be excited, I'm sure...The Rock is my new pizza joint...!
Been a long time. Love the out of the box pizza creations!Menu is well rounded and modern. Good stuff. Service was great. Friendly employees always make for a good night out.
