This a great locals spot that sits well above the "dive bar" designation, and is inviting. Great staff and great food. Casual, with TVs to watch sports and a full array of beers. My only complaint - not worthy of a star takeaway - is that the fixed seats at the bar (as related to the bar foot-rest) aren't in-line with an average sized person. This means that folks who aren't tall struggle to be comfortable. I'm not tall, and saw others slightly irritated by the same. An easy fix would be to raise the footrest (brass bar) about 6 inches. Also, cool and consistent (but low noise) music - would increase the vibe. I love the woodwork of the bar and style of this spot. Overall a great place to have a beer and burger/tots.
Always good food and friendly service at The Forum. They have a good menu, so you should be able to find something to eat. Like every other restaurant these days, seemed rather expensive. We spent $86 for two people on lunch.
We came here for the first time two days ago and already have plans to return. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu. The food is fresh and made in-house - super tasty. The mac and cheese balls were everything we wanted and more. We’ll definitely be back for happy hour :)
The staff here are very friendly and accommodating. From the moment we walked in we felt very welcomed. I split a french dip with my husband and it was probably the best one I’ve ever had. Very impressed with this place.
We had a new server & she was very sweet & trying her best. If she didn't know the answer to a question she quickly git the answer for us. She was honest & upfront about being new without making it awkward. Overall she did a great job & was tipped appropriately. The food...fried raviolis had good flavor but came out Luke warm & were undercooked and hard to cut but the flavor was robust. Our meals came out fresh & hot. My Pardon our French Dip was lacking in roast beef but the bun was delicious and the au jus was very flavorful without being overly salty. Speaking if overly salty, the fries! The fries looked fantastic and they were except that they were sooooo salty that it was over powering in the mouth. We mentioned that to one of the staff that was training our waitress. The chicken sandwich was delicious and messy but also lacked in the meat department. Basically the size of a long chicken nugget.
Great atmosphere. Great service. I tried pickle liquor, not my favorite, but I'm not a pickle person. Their infused alcohols are pretty cool.
03/10/2022Came for happy hour. I sat at the bar. I tried the Coastal Vines Cabernet Sauvignon for $5. I was pleasantly surprised and would drink it again. I ordered the mac and cheese balls $7.50 and a pound of Buffalo wings $14. Krystina was the bartender and gave excellent service. The food like most restaurants around here is just OK.
3 STARS - All for the food. We had to sit at the bar, it was packed full. There were 2 girls running the whole restaurant/bar. Horrible service. We ordered the pretzel. YUM!! Fish and chips - NOPE. The jucy lucy was amazing. Tots were pretty good. The fries were horrible, not cooked enough. Not sure if they still serve all the sauces with the fries, but we didn't see it.
I love to try a different cocktail every visit and they're all very good. Spicy creole shrimp are something I must get any time I'm there. I highly recommend that along with the pineapple upside down cocktail!
Service was good and the server was friendly, atmosphere was both lively and cozy. Only had a couple beers which were reasonably priced. I'll be going back if I ever find myself in the area again.
