I just ordered this vegetable stir fry 20 minutes ago and I'll let the picture speak for itself. The food is awful, I've never tasted anything like this. My family has been loyal customers, we have seen a decline in service the last several months. I will definitely never go back.
Food is over cooked, or it's been sitting under a heat lamp too long. Ordered generals chicken, Mongolian beef, egg rolls and crab Rangoon. Egg rolls were just ok, the crab Rangoon is tiny and overcooked. The generals chicken was tasty, but dry and the chicken was stringy. The beef had so much gristle much of it was inedible. Rice was dry and the portions were small compared to other Chinese restaurants.
The sushi was great, a bit salty. Pricey, a bowl of miso is 5.99.
Everything we have tried so far its been delicious, specially their sushi!!!
We get take out from here all the time, definitely our new local favorite. We've dinned in as well, staff is always super attentive, willing to modify things to make it the best meal ever. Easy instructions for ordering, pickup, etc. They are light on the rice and heavy on the ingredients, so it's worth every penny. Even my 3.5yr old agrees that their sushi is the BEST!She says, " thank you for the sushi 'mam! "
We used to love this place, however, we ordered online through post mates for pickup. The order confirmed and told us when it was ready, so I waited 20 minutes in line. Finally get up to the counter, showed my receipt on the post mates app and they said they don't have an order for that. They tried to ring me up and charge me again. My account was charged $93 and they wouldn't make our order. Never coming here again.
Excellent experience. Super clean, extremely friendly staff, sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed fresh, cold sushi. ?Zero discrimination, even had great music playing. The quality of the food was top notch! I’ll be back!!!
Mediocre food and terrible new owners.(Updated at bottom to reflect owner response)I enjoyed this place in the past, the food was never incredible, but was ok for the price. My wife and I went back today to use a $50 gift certificate that was given to us 5 months ago for our wedding, and the new owners refused to honor it because "the old owners kept the money for that". I explained that "when you buy a company, you buy that company’s liabilities", but they didn’t care about the law, and made no attempts to make it up to us in any way.I look forward to never eating their mediocre food again.(Update: There was no confusion about the expiration date, I physically pointed to "2022" on the gift certificate, and they responded that they would not honor it because they weren't the ones to receive money for it. I explained the law, and a second person came back to the table to reiterate that they wouldn't honor it, and that they expected me to pay full price for my meal.)Under Washington State law, a gift certificate sold by any retailer cannot expire. Do not under any circumstances purchase a gift certificate from this restaurant - they do not abide by the law.
Got the happy family cost $18.99 after tax was $21 not worth the high price for something so small.
I got sushi and brought some to my mom to try and we wound up going back in the same day just to get more. The sushi is amazing, it's a little pricey (but good sushi usually is) and the soy sauce packets taste kinda strange but I still use it if I don't have my preferred soy sauce.
