This place is amazing. I've been craving for churros for months and finally got my cravings satisfied. My husband hasn't had mexican food like this anywhere in Washington. We loved our trio platter! They deserve more than 5 stars. This is not your typical bean and rice mexican food joint. The flavors are great, the presentation is on point and the service is personal. We need more places like this.
My boyfriend and I went on a date night and he surprised me with a place I never heard of which was this hidden joint! We ordered grilled chicken and carnesada tacos! They were amazing! Everything was super fast and we were taken care of! Best taco place in South hill, but that's just my opinion ?
Taco Zone is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The grilled carne tacos are a game changer, but the traditional street tacos, burritos and literally everything I've tried on the menu are excellent. The Cadillac Margarita is gigantic and delicious. I can't recommend them enough. I take everyone I know here when they visit me.
Authentic and delicious tacos and excellent service! We just popped in and it was a pleasant surprise. You know it’s going to be good when half the patrons are speaking Spanish. Hard to find good Mexican food in Washington, so this place is a gem. Highly recommend!
Our new favorite spot! Shout out to Gerry for the amazing service. Our first time trying this place on Saturday and we're so glad we did! This was by far the best mexican restaurant we've ate at. All their dishes are authentic and their recipes were past down from generations. The food was soo delicious and we will definitely come back. The beans and rice is homemade and you can taste the difference. We definitely recommend this place. One of my favorite dish is the quesabirria with consome. Support this family owned small business.
Was craving some lingua tacos they were very soft and tender just the way they're supposed tothey're supposed to be hit the spot just where I needed it fast and couriers
This has become our go to location on South Hill. Every dish has been delicious. They have a small dining room, ensuring that they are always coming by to check on you. Jerry always takes care of us!
The food is good... about as good as any of the 15 Mexican places within 10 miles. The prices in my opinion are way high, higher than I am right now. $2 wings, $7 for a cup of beans, $14 breakfast burrito? An average little place with overly expensive food. Stay safe.
Cutest restaurant, nice chill atmosphere. The food here is absolutely amazing. This is my new taco spot.
Summary:Store bought flour tortillasDry old meat with no flavor.Canned beans and pineappleMy wife and I ordered two al pastor burritos, we ended up taking a couple bites and just had to pay and leave. It was also $47 for two burritos and one margarita. The food was cold and had no flavor. Everything was super dry and definitely from a can. It's clear the food has been sitting out for hours. There hasn't been many times I couldn't eat what I ordered but this was one of them and when we said we couldn't eat the food because it was so bad the server just told us "people love our food and we never have problems."
