I had the burrito Colorado with rice and beans. Everything was piping hot (don't touch the plate, lol) and cooked to perfection. Meat was tender, not tough or chewy. Rice was fluffy and beans were creamy. Service was excellent. They have a small variety of dessert options now but alas, I was much too full to attempt eating one. Restaurant was clean and ambiance was nice.
Definitely would not recommend going here especially if you have a food allergy. My boyfriend and I ordered here today and asked them before we ordered any food if they make any of the food with peanuts or any peanut products And they told us no (my boyfriend had a very serious peanut allergy) as soon as my boyfriend took a bite of the enchilada his throat started immediately Itching and he started throwing up so I called the place back and the same guy answered and said they make the sauce with peanuts. My boyfriend is still currently in the hospital
Not very good Mexican food but alright Waxican as in Washington Mexican. I ordered two different chile rellenos they were different chiles and different types of batter not bad but not great. Tasted like mozzarella inside not real Mexican cheese. The salsa was very liquidy like tomato juice. Didn't have much spice or fresh flavor. Over all I was not impressed and would not go back unless someone else paid.
Food and service was very good. Our server, Angelica, was friendly and very attentive. Other staff was nice as well. The prices have gone up since we were there last but still a good value.

I was ready for about 10 minutes or more.Asked for verde sauce instead of the traditional on my Chicken Enchilada, easy swap, but was neglected to be informed of an upcharge for this change. Which I think is ridiculous, it is sauce ?, not extra of anything....So I didn't know about it until I received my bill.Chicken was also dry ?. Super unexpected especially being Mexican food. Usually Chicken is super juicy.
I believe the managers name was pancho, and his wife evilyn… they assisted us today in our dine-in experience. It’s been awhile since I’ve had such wonderful service at a restaurant. Their was never once a time where are drinks were empty. He even got us to try something new on the menu which I never do. They are very humble and nice people. And I just had to share how refreshing it was. If you’re looking for a great experience. Going out to eat.. this is the spot. Thank you for your service today! :)
Wow , this place was great! I ate the chicken mole enchiladas ? and wow! Awesome! Real authentic ? Mexican food! Chips were good and the salsa was very tasty! If your up here in Puyallup and you want Mexican food, come here for sure! Highly recommended ? ?
If you like mexican food then you better get your keys and drive to this mazatlan after seeing this review. The food tasted so good and the restaurant was clean. The service was great, the waiters were friendly and helpful with making suggestions for trying new dishes. The drinks were really good and well made. Its a great place to eat and the portions are good. You will not be disapointed. They use to have a night club in the back with pool tables and live music. That is the only thing they need to do is to bring that back it was a fun and chill place to hang out. Please bring that back mazatlan.
Staff was very pleasant. Good came out fairly fast for 10 orders.We were there to celebrate my Son's 40th birthday, he's Deaf and they took the time to learn a few signs to day thank you and happy Birthday!
First time here. Lot's of food and good too. Prices are not bad.
