I have gone to them for 35 + years. Loved the food always consistent But very disappointed they cut the amount of food servings!! I would rather have a higher priceAnd same amount!! I ordered take out Cantonese for 2 went home very imbarrased the amount was so much smaller.This is one thing I cannot cook so I don't feel guilty spending the $$$ it's not a daily thing
Chow Mein….NEVER have I ordered this and it hasn’t been noodles with some veggies and a meat(if you order it with meat).We ordered Dinner no 5: which includes:Pork Chow MeinPork Fried RiceFried Almond Chicken(with gravy)Sweet & Sour PorkOur chow mein was bean sprouts, other veggies and pork. NO NOODLES! I called to ask as I ordered this with my kiddos wanting noodles and we’ve ordered from other Chinese restaurants. When I called to ask about the chow mein, which is noodles, some veggies and meat (if that’s what you wanted) , to have them tell me theirs is different…DIFFERENT?!! Like ummm HELLO?! Chow mein is noodles when you even google! So how do you expect some new customer, which we were, to know that your chow mein is COMPLETELY different then anyone else? NEVER AGAIN WILL THE HOUSE OF KEE GET MY MONEY OR BUSINESS!
Great food , in house or take out !! Have tried a few other Chinese food places in Puyallup....House of Kee is still #1 !! Live in downtown and will make the drive to South Hill for the food !!
This place was everything I hoped it would be. From the stereotypical chinese restaurant decor to the amazing food quality. We will be coming here again for sure!
Got an order to go yesterday and ordered a container of crushed almonds. I was charged $5.00 for it. The container only had about 2 teaspoons in it. It was in a very tiny container. Not making that mistake ever again. I want my money back.
OMG! I wish we had known about this wonderful restaurant years ago. Their food is freaking amazing! The atmosphere is genuine and their staff is quick. And may I just say one more time that their food is unbelievably good.
Always a long time fav. Best chinese food and cust service in WA state. Our family has been coming for the past 15 years+. We love it.
I have shellfish sensitivities and they must be frying the shellfish in the same oil as the egg rolls, as I had a reaction. I’ve eaten there before and never had issues.
