Food is amazing and portions are very generous. Fast service only about 10 min every time I’m there. Would suggest Teryaki lovers and more
Shrimp fried rice was disappointing, it looked like steamed rice with some shrimp throw in. I've had it before and it was delicious with a charcoal or tasted from the wok. I didn't think to look because I was sure it would be same as usual. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. ?
Came here after summercon sunday and was impressed - generous portions, fast friendly service even when they were busy and yummy food. Will be back again if im in Puyallup.
This establishment is quite delicious. Immediately greeted upon walking in. My order came out really fast and I’m happy with the service. I definitely plan on coming back.
We were looking for a spot to grab some quick takeout and had never tried Honto Teriyaki. My partner enjoyed his chicken katsu, but I wasn't impressed with the vegetable yakisoba. Not sure we'll be back.
Ordered takeout, food was ready when we got there to pick up, ordered 5 chicken teriyakis as that is usually enough to split between my 8 kids and 2 adults. Came home and sat to eat and were disappointed that there was only one scoop of rice in each container. Since when was there one scoop. That isn’t even enough for one person. Had to wait another 30 min while my rice cooked at home to eat with our lunch. Not happy to pay 12.99 for one scoop of rice.Really wanted to like this place, they were super nice and I was hoping it was worth it’s money.
The Greatest Teriyaki restaurant in America. I've been all over the country. This is legitimately the best there is.
We got a large order and we were disappointed in it all. The general tso and sweet and sour chicken tasted like nothing. No flavor. The egg rolls were nothing special. The Mongolian beef texture was not good. It was a waste of money.
I work and live in Norfolk now and I have yet to find a place that does Beef (Steak) Teriyaki as good as Honto and I've been looking! For what you pay, you are given generous portions and plenty of sauce. I miss this place whenever I'm craving Teriyaki! Interactions with staff have always been great for me! This a family run business and they work hard! I appreciate everything they do!
Really good food. Even nicer counter staff. Portions were good and their teriyaki sauce is one of the good ones, and they grill the chicken right. No tacky tasteless steamed chicken looking garbage. This teriyaki is worthy.. I didn't find the almond chicken exceptional in any way. It was not bad though.
