Unedible cold "Hawaiian/Teriyaki" burger. Where's the teryaki? Almost looks tobacco chew spit glob than Teriyaki.Del Taco cooks the crinkle cut fries better and they come with the meal.Fry/special sauce watery.Raspberry flavored corn syrup for tea.Noticeably irked at having to buy fries separately from burger. No customer service skills or communication from worker. In which she could have explained how it worked or offered combo meal.Just asked to pick my free drink. Now visibly confused at why I get a drink with my burger and not fries.Still no explanation.Wait for food notice menu has a combo option but no price.When food is ready ask cashier/server how much the combo is. To which she explains when you order fries you get drink as it turns into a combo meal.No info on menu about that just a bunch of hand written notes haphazardly placed that the price is just the burger.Very disappointed I like to stop at random drive ins as I like burgers and to try different places that I come across.I had a long day and hadn't had lunch and made a U-Turn to go here.Not hungry enough to eat but one bite of the burger.Not worth the U-Turn or the time to stop.
I ordered To Go and it is AMAZING! Doesn't get soggy and gross on the way home. Their onion rings are amazing!! Definitely recommend for take out!
Solid food and friendly staff. We got prawns and chips as well as fish and chips. All was tasty. Good sized portions. They give plenty of tartar and fry sauces. Lots of other great looking options on the menu and looking forward to trying their burgers.
All the reviews rave about the fish and chips so we tried them today. Very very good 2 big pieces of fish and plenty of Fry's. I just wish the fries were a little crisper.
Tasty bacon cheese burger , onion rings & curly fries. BTW, the REAL milkshakes are amazing also. Customer service was nothing memorable, however, quick, efficient & accurate(accuracy is definitely a positive). Prices seem a bit high but I feel like lately everything feels that way
We were down to the fairgrounds for The Great Junk Hunt and needing to fill our bellies before driving north. We stumbled upon Don's around the corner from the Blue Gate parking lot and thought why not give it a try. My daughter ordered curly fries which came in a paper bag and she absolutely loved them. I wanted something easy to eat since I had to drive and ordered fish and chips and a peanut butter chocolate milkshake. I was filled up for the entire night and everything was delicious. Would definitely stop by again!
One of my favorite small business restaurants. Me and my friends always go here. Great food for an affordable price.
Paid $18 for this halibut, it tasted good but just felt the portion was a bit too small for the price.
Cool old fashioned walk up style restraunt. Burgers and curly fries were great and my buddy said his strawberry shake was pretty good too. Nice people that run the place. Would deffinetly dine here again!
Hey I love your food. Been going to you for years but I'm getting a little creeped and grossed out by the homeless living right next to you with all their trash piling up. I hope the litter doesn't drive people away or bring rats. I saw they were starting fires behind the drive in today. Who owns that property so me and a few more concerned Don's Drive In regulars can help do something about this.
