This review is solely for the tea service, in which I was disappointed. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat or a cafe to stop by in, this is great for that. If you are looking for an elegant, fancy tea experience, just with friends or for a nice celebration, like others that I have been to, this is not it.I want to start by saying the staff was very nice and we were seated right away. I would say half of a “tea experience” is the atmosphere and again, this is not it. The room in the back looked half finished, plain empty walls, no decor. . The only exception was a vase of plastic flowers on the table but the table was so tiny, and with the tea pots and food tray, it was more of a nuisance. We were served with plain white plates and white cups (I expected some nice china like at other tea service places I’ve been to). My other complaint is the very noisy AC that was blowing: a tea is supposed to be a slow, relaxing experience and I felt like “lets hurry up and get the heck outta here.”That being said, I understand it’s an old building, and unless the building owner wants to update, that ain’t happening. Yes the room was a comfortable cool temperature, so I guess the choice was between it being hot af or noisy. I understand but it still impacted the overall experience. At other tea services I’ve been to, I was also used to someone coming by and seeing if we needed anything else, or maybe more tea, and this didn’t happen here either.Again, this review is solely for the tea package, so you aren’t disappointed like I was. If you are looking for a special experience where you dress up and want to maybe celebrate an occasion, I do not recommend this at all, but would recommend the other places in WA that specialize in this sort of experience. If you are in the area and need a bite to eat or a place for a lunch date with a friend, then this is perfect for that.Again the staff members we spoke with were very nice, to leave on a positive note.
British Bites have lovely imported traditional treats as well as a full kitchen making baked goods and delicious savory bites. In addition they do a tea sitting with little savory sandwiches and sweets with potted tea blends of your choosing. Their hard work and dedication to English hospitality is second to none!
Super cute and fun place to go for tea and other Brittish fun. Staff was very helpful and friendly. My only suggestion is to offer some delightful bites for those with dietary restrictions.
Was a bit apprehensive going in. But 1000% love their pastries and pastys. They have mastered the croissant in the pasty and the shortbread is second to none. The soups are incredible. Haven't had a bad thing yet. And... I'm super picky! Love the local and owner operated story. Definitely give it a shot.
First time here, we went for a Mad Hatters tea party and it was lovely they'd really thought it all through so the little details were really well done. The afternoon tea was delicious, great choice of tea to choose from and the staff were excellent too.
Just wow! Incredible food. On par with the finest patisseries I’ve ever experienced in my travels. Short bread is second to none. The scones are cooked to perfection (not too try like most places). The pasty I had today melted my heart and stomach: chicken and mushroom. The croissant shell was buttery, crispy and crunchy - and the filling was very savory and excellent. I can’t say enough good things about this place. And, I’m picky! My hat is off to the chef!
I absolutely love this place. I tend to dine in on my own because it is one of my favorite spots for some time to myself. The employees are all do kind and very talented with baking and cooking. The grocery section of the store is always fun to check out and to get some good candy.
SO CUTE! So many tea choices, I was a little overwhelmed! The food and teas were very good. Although the dining area was small, we never felt rushed. Been back twice, I enjoyed it so much!
Nice, cozy tea shop atmosphere with fun and quirky British grocery items and snacks. The food and tea is good. Service is quick and friendly. Overall, a good chill spot to grab some tea.
My family and I love this place. It's like walking into someone's British home. So cozy and the smells are amazing and so inviting. You can't go wrong with any of their fresh baked goods. I highly recommend the cherry Bakewell tarts and any of the mini vicki's. Their British snack selection is impressive and it's fun to try new things. We haven't been able to sit down for an afternoon tea yet, but the menu looks fabulous and there are always happy, satisfied looking patrons at the tables. Just go, you won't be disappointed ?
