I’m only giving 3 stars because I’ve been here a few times and had no issue.Tonight our server was Chris.I’d implore the managerial staff to educate everyone on the importance of an allergy. I have a dairy allergy, I specifically told the server this. I ordered the blackened Cajun salmon with fries after having previously spoken with staff about my allergy and ensuring the fries/salmon are safe. I mention the allergy to ensure the broccoli is not prepared with butter and staff are supposed to change gloves/use clean surfaces for preparation. My allergy isn’t THAT sensitive, but it’s sensitive enough to realize the broccoli was prepared using butter.Upon asking Chris, he said “Oh. Yes. The broccoli is made with butter.” His only solution was to apologize. An allergy isn’t something you just shrug off. We opted not to bring it to the manager as we weren’t looking for compensation and that’s typically the response. Comping my meal doesn’t negate that I just consumed something I’m allergic to after explicitly asking you to inform the kitchen of my allergy.
According to the song, I was expecting a dance night out with the kiddos and their aunt. Waited only about 10 minutes to get a table. Server took our orders super quick and appetizers showed up not long after. The wonton chicken tacos were light and tasted great. Same for the spinach and artichoke dip. Service, as far as water refills and attention was pretty non existant. We didn't see our server again after ordering. We had a kids chicken quesadilla, two bacon cheeseburgers/fries, and a chicken Ceasar salad. Burgers came dry, no condiments and pretty sorry looking. My chicken Ceasar salad was pretty sorry for what they charge. Had pieces of shrimp and some kind of sautéed mushroom. I'm allergic to shellfish so waited for the server to come back bye while everyone proceeded to eat their food, only. To never see her again. Overall can't suggest this place to anyone and definitely won't ever be back. Super overpriced for what seems like generic run down restaurant. Can't reccomend anything and would look to any one of the chains for better fare at a better price. Sad as we were looking forward to our first time here.
Hospitality was great our server offered our two boys a different color pen each. By the time we left he wasn't around. I asked next wait staff, Can you see these pens get back to them? That was nice. Thank you
It was packed but turn around was impressive. The waiter was friendly and food was fresh
My daughter and I absolutely love it here. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant, I had gastric sleeve surgery, never has any wait staff given me a hard time about my restrictions or making changes to my order. I recommend to everyone.
The Applebee's on South Hill has a great waitstaff.. the food is decent enough, the folks at Michelin won't swing by... but hey, it's Applebee's ?♂️ Even though the place was near capacity, we still were completely sat with drinks within 5 minutes, and 12 minutes later we had our entrees! Bravo team!!
I've always loved Applebee's. It's one of the few places you can get steak done right. When I dine in. I never have a problem. This is the second time I've ordered through I've eats and both times, you've messed up my order. Both times I ordered a side salad , no croutons, with Ceasar dressing in the side. Both times you've sent me a Caesar salad with croutons. Is it impossible for you to realize that some of us want a green salad with cucumbers and tomatoes and want to eat it with Caesar dressing. This time I ordered and paid for extra dressing. Didn't get it. I ordered and paid for extra marinara with my Mozzarella sticks. Didn't get the extra. My steak was Beautifully rare the way I like it, but at least 2 oz of my steak was grizzle and fat. I've never had this at any Applebee's. I don't think I'll be ordering Applebee's for delivery again. I've never had a problem with my food while dining in, but if it were to happen, at least, there, I can send it back.
Edit as of 1/15/22* we went in today because my husband cannot get enough of the pretzels and beer cheese. Amanda was our server, she went the extra mile to get us to go dip cups (I didn't know they had them) , she had excellent customer service & we felt very welcomed. Not to mention the food here is always great! Quick service & all nice staff. We were In about 2 hours ago. We'll be back soon! Thank you all
We had a party of 8. 4 kids and 4 adults. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out perfect. The waitress was attentive and stayed on top of drink refills. My one complaint was that the meals didn't come out at the same time. This is not a problem for adults but the meals were about 4 minutes apart from each which made the kids complain. We ended up taking food from one child then replacing it once the other plates came out.
The service at this Applebee's absolutely sucks. Our server left all our dirty dishes on the table throughout our meal and didn't check on us a single time until after we finished our food. She was also kinda crabby with a poor attitude. It just reminded me of why I drive the extra 10 miles to Bonney Lake Applebee's. Their service is always on point and the food is fantastic.
