Flavor is always there. Cleanliness and customer service vary but given the awful 2 years we’ve all had, we all need grace in that department. What brought me here to review though, is these chicken toes. They still write chicken tenders on the menu but they stopped serving those a few years back. We all know they’ve been serving chicken fingers for a hot minute but today all four of us discovered they are now dishing up chicken toes.Guess that explains how they’re only 360 calories now.
No chocolate ice cream which is my wife’s favorite so we ordered hot fudge sundaes instead. Went through the drive-thru. Car in front of is was at the window and he starts screaming at the staff to give his debit card back and then sped off. We found out why. 4 or 5 goofballs standing around and can’t figure the orders out. They had ours tied in with someone else’s order. When we got the sundaes finally they were a joke. Not enough hot fudge to even scrape a little off the sides. No nuts, whipped cream or cherry. Just ice cream and two drops of chocolate syrup.
This a great place for a walk. Saw an osprey, red-wing black birds, and numerous other birds.
Ordered the seasalt blizzard with added peanutbutter sauce and received just a cup of vanilla ice cream with a dab of pb sauce…this isn’t the first time my orders have been messed up. Blizzards are some time watery and half blended. I give 3 stars because it’s still good but disappointing at times.
I usually really like this place because their crew is really efficient, but the last 3 times I have come there and ordered a Choco brownie blizzard with fudge filling, I have not gotten the fudge filling, which is half the reason I get that blizzard in the first place. Once is understandable, twice even, but three times is a little ridiculous. Please do better.
Workers standing around, and food not ready at window. Our car, as well as 2 other cars, were sent to the front to wait. 12 minutes later a young man brought our food out. He didn't even know what was in the bag when we asked him to confirm what it was because they had already tried to give us 2 different orders that weren't ours. We ordered 2 number 5s. Fries and one burger were cold, while 2nd burger was steaming hot. Obviously had been made while other food waited for it in the bag on the counter. People waiting around the counter inside for their food. Seemed there were plenty of workers, just standing around or taking breaks while customers were going without. Lack of training by managers in this port orchard DQ store, for sure.
Everyone loves ice cream and Dairy Queen is an old time favorite place to get it. Fast service, always busy.
The Dairy Queen in Tacoma is always better than the ones in Port Orchard. The food is hotter, better put together, they do the specials from the app. I think they do a better job overall.
Went to this store on thursday night about 15 minutes till 10pm. The staff was rude. I ordered chicken strips they were out so I ordered a bacon cheese burger meal. When totaling my order proceeded to tell me they were out of meat! I asked what did they have to eat in the store at the time and real rude said french fries and laughed! I went to the window and asked to speak to a manager and there wasn't one I was told. When I asked for the name of the manager the kid wasn't sure his name. Very dirty inside and very rude service. In in the process of contacting their franchise owner. I will never return to that DQ.
Nephew and I grabbed a Blizzard and a fudge sundae. Delicious and the drive thru was quick.
